You would be more aware of your surroundings. But I noticed in FFA, it's not the p2w that's the issue or the grenade teams vs randoms party. It's the understanding of how to read the map and knowing what you must do. So I run a tanky dps Fenrir build and a assassin Loki build.
(castle map)
So first, I bring the Loki, sneak around and kill two Aries and stop the train that was wreaking my team at the top. Now, this premade party brings 3-4 ppl (including this persuer) to take me down. So, in the grand scheme, I went to the lower part of the castle level so that the whole enemy team will Chase me around and my teammates would attack them from the backside.
So after 30 sec of a Zany chase scene of 4 robots trying to kill one robot, I'm finally dead. So I look at the map, and I see the same 5 robot team sitting in the same spot shooting at the same two Fury's that stayed in the back defending the upper level bridge.
Now I'm frustrated. So I went to get the big guns and brought out the tank Fenrir. Took the lower bridge route by myself, wrecked an Ares, destroyed a Spectre, and killed a pursuer who thought that he could Out Tank me. At this point the whole team is down there except for one mender. Takes the team 1 minute to knock me out.
So I'm looking at the map and thinking oh these guys probably already down there attacking them from the backside. I look at the map, and I see the same 5 robots attempting to attack the same Mender that's hiding behind a castle wall and not walking over the bridge.
At this point I'm furious and now I am grabbing the Weyland and walking across that bridge myself. So the enemy team is still at the lower part of the castle trying to recover and get back up and defend, and I am marching across that bridge by myself.
So out of the 5 robots, only one came with me, and Lancelot and got himself three kills by him just standing in front of me taking hits for me while I'm healing him.
Once the the Lancelot is dead, I died as well. But Here Comes the other 4 teammates to finally walk across the bridge with less than one minute left and we're down by 6 kills.
Someone please tell me that Champions rank is different than this. I don't mind playing against p2w type of people or pre-made teams, or heck the crazy Ares train. But you would think in master rank, people would know how to play or be aware of their surroundings.
I would think five robots can take down one mender. And the only reason why I have a Weyland it's because it encourages a team of randoms to move forward with a Healer since random players from my experience are sometimes hesitant to move forward.
Vet players and Champion ranked players, what's your thoughts on this?
