jump, fire, jump, fire, jump, fire. Why do players need a tutorial?

absolute no skill and strategy, just staying in front of the enemy and holding down the fire button, relying on the bot's stats.

It's the original cheese bot. 4x any Medium weapons does major damage, add a stealth jump and you've got the first bot that really broke the game. Now it's Ares, Ao Jun.
You don't have to run cheese bots to be competitive but seriously, ditch the Molots and Patton for some more modern gears.

"uh oh, uh oh, we need the Shield! Where is he?!?"
Doesn't use cover, tactics, or use team play. Just stands in front of enemy bots and hits the shield button to win. What a legend

If you can time the burst as you move to cover, you can chop up bots at 800 meters and reload behind cover. Skill and strategy. The above two are examples are jump, fire, jump, fire, jump, fire. Hit shield button, stand in front of enemy and kill them. You don't need a youtube tutorial to do that.

All his bots are set up so you literally just stand in front of enemy bots and hold down the fire button. The bot's stats does the rest.

Hop on the test server and try out Hover, Rogatka, Carnage, Mercury, Falcon, Kumiho, Gareth, Rhino, Strider, Raven, Pursuer, Blitz, Loki...

Whatever you feel about the current meta/sub-meta, it isn’t cool taking it out on Adrian. He is a friendly and (mostly) cool guy who has done more for the game than any one here. And he’s a strong player as well, so labeling his vids “no skill” is disingenuous.

I just want a league where free bots/weapons and monetized and component bots and weapons are segregated. Any bot or weapon you buy replaces skill with cheesy stats to aid an unskilled player.

I'm not trolling. I want a fair game. I don't want to be in a league where my bots are getting wiped out by monetized bots and weapons.
I'm sure Adrian is a nice guy, but his videos illustrate how cheesey the monetized bots and weapons are vs regular bots and weapons.

I'm ranting, I like the game but it's frustrating not getting a fair game because the match making is horrible and monetized bots ruin gameplay. After silver league it's all about who has the newest updated bots and weapons. I want to stay in the silver league.

Again, I've realized Pixonic is a Russian company, they made the game to extract money. They don't care about gameplay or the quality of their product. It is too bad because it is a very good game I wouldn't mind spending money on, but no more money than a console or PC game.

Look, I don't think you will find any here who disagrees with you on that, but the game is what it is. Accept it or stop playing. Otherwise you wont find anything but bitternes.

I'm going to tank and no spawn my last bot until I get to recruit league and smash them with my maxed out bots. Pretty soon noobs will rage quit or shell out money until the whole game is nothing but jump, fire, jump, fire, jump, fire, rinse repeat. Or hit shield button, stand in front of enemy and fire. It's like developers created a balanced game with gameplay in mind, each bot with different strengths, then the Russians took control of it and started squeezing the fun and money out of it.

Not sure what you have against Russians man. It's like you're saying all Russians are greedy 「illegitimate child」s who only care about making money.
This game, which was developed by Russians, started off as a fair and balanced game. But, another company brought it and monetized the hell outta it.

I thought the game was developed by Americans because of the in-game developer's news, then bought by Mail.ru I had the feeling the game was once a good game because it was fun as hell until I started seeing monetized bots and weapons.

Gotta say, I'm really enjoying playing against non classic bots using the classics.

To the original vid, the skill involved in running Tulumba Spectre is knowing the lay of the land, where the sight lines and angles are, how the rockets will hit, knowing how much to compensate your aim for the slow moving rockets plus your speed plus the targets speed, being in the right position for the opportunity to hit the target, jumping so you don’t land in a dumb place, and more.
Tulumba Spectre is a fun bot to play and it takes skill to play it effectively, but that doesn’t mean it can be played without skill. Like on Carrier I’ll see one parked behind a particular forward cover and they jump, shoot, wait 22 seconds, jump shoot wait. The whole game they stay there in their gimmick and usually don’t do much damage. That’s unskilled. One should be anticipating, moving, hunting, learning, trying, risking.
For your real issue though I think you’ve answered it, go back to Silver league. Don’t tank to Recruit with overpowered gear, just lessen your gear a bit so you slide back to Silver and play. Don’t level things beyond what will take you out of Silver. You need to have a self-imposed cap to not move up. I do this on a couple smurf accounts and know the temptation to keep leveling, oh then I’ll be in charge, but then I’ll move too high. Just leave it because I know where I want to play and will pay the price of 50% losses for it. And in your case, being a new player, to stay in Silver long term you may have to lessen your gear several times as your skill grows.

Yeah, I don't understand why he feels compelled to show everyone how good MK2 is.
EVERYTHING is good at MK2! We get it! If he really wanted to show people how powerful setups were, he'd run them at like level 8 standard.
But that's just my opinion, I usually skip most of his MK2 videos.
