I have been curating (mostly for myself) videos where I scored >1M damage since 2017 winter ( war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/post/217044/thread ), but that thread is now so old that it feels like necro-posting. So I will start another one. I know there are people scoring >1M on average and there is an inflation because of self healing. For me, >1.4M is still quite rare (twice in 25 battles), so I will use this value as the cutoff. If the battle is interesting, I may post it even if damage is lower than that. This thread is mostly for my own curation, but I welcome others to share theirs ... link to the video (1080p)I had a break for >5 months and just started playing again a few days ago. This was the first time I played on Carrier since the come back. I didn't do much with the first bot (Doc) other than grilling some from a distance. Then I quite wasted the second and third. As the red Ares/Ao Jun thinned off, I finally had some breathing room and started focusing more. There was a red who infiltrated with a Rhino and then a Leo and almost got me. I barely escaped with PC healing and stealth. Kudos to this guy. I don't have right to complain about Ares/Ao Jun, when I survive more classic bots relying on my own magical abilities. All I did well here, I think, was to regain composure after losing the first three bots, wait till it was safe and wise to cap the center (and then the red side beacon), and then dealt as much damage from there on. I was just lucky. The blue team = [C, C, C, M1, M3, M3] and the red = [C, C, C, M1, M1, E1], in the order of damage scores. I used damage, durability, and key boosters all earned from clan tasks, etc., and also ample amounts of power cells for self-healing, which should have contributed to the damage score. Battle result:

After the come back, I haven't seen Castle map for so long that I thought this map was somehow removed. This was only the second time I had Castle in 50 matches. I am still getting used to the Quantum Radar button with the Doc and the map felt new, too. After wasting first two bots (again!), I began to remember things about this map. In Castle, I think it is more important to find my role and stick to it. For example, if I am facing multiple red bots in the lower part of the map alone, it is okay to stay just defensive even if it means doing nothing. While I am holding more than one red bots here, teammates will enjoy superiority in numbers in the upper part. When more teammates decide to join my side, then it is time to push and make sure to gain some strategic goals. So with the third bot, I did well in finding the timing when to stay or go. I think most of the kills and damages scored here. At one point, the battle was reduced to a 3-vs-3 merry-go-round. Since we were losing in beacon bar, I thought we had to do more than just exchanging beacons. I made a mistake again when losing the third bot - Orkan Haechi (should have taken more conservative path to get back to our home beacon) but that mistake allowed me to spawn the next bot to defend a beacon and kill a red (with help from a teammate). Battle video: link to the video (1080+p)
The blue team = [C, C, C, C, M1, M1] and the red = [C, M1, C, C, C, M3], in the order of damage scores. It's still hard to score >1.4M against all Champions, it seems I always need some push from the MM. Battle result:

During the 3x Honor Point weekend, I was beaten hard and ended up falling back to Master league. I spend a night there and experienced weird matches where I was the top scorer with 1.7~1.9M damage, 10~11 kills, and capped the most (or the second most) beacons. At one point, there were three reds in line not moving in front of my Mender, so I at first thought it was a lag (again ...). But the damage was registering and they all went down. Watching the video again, I realized that that was my recently added Halo working. This was almost the first time I was on the giving side of rooting. ... Anyways, in those matches the opponents were Masters and Experts, so they didn't count. And those Experts, why do they spawn mid-ranger-ish bots at the center beacon of Canyon? Looks like there may be indeed an experience gap between E and above them, even not considering the differences in gear levels? ... Anyways, the following battle was the fourth of the C re-qualification. I scored a fairly good damage against mostly Champions, but the biggest mistake was with my Spectre this time. If I hadn't lost that bot that quickly... link to the video (1080+p)I think there was a traditionalist Falcon among the reds. It really was not worth hitting ... give me Invaders instead ... The blue team = [C, C, M1, M1, M2, C] and the red = [C, C, C, C, C, M1] in the order of damage scores. I was back to Champion in the next battle (which was an unusual nail-biter...). Battle result:

Fun stuff. I finally figured out why I was doing so much more "damage" than I used to, from repairing/being repaired and have the Mechanic / autoheal on a couple of bots.
Got as high as 2m all in, with a handful over 1.5 but my real max damage still sits at 1.5 and change.

Same here, the 1.964M damage was a new record for me but the highest score in my stat increased only a bit to 1.730M, which I assume the real damage I have done. So they know how much was real damage and how much coming from healing/ self-healing. Then why not showing the real damage at the first place? I can understand including scores for healing teammates, but counting self healing as well is pointless.

Last night, I was sleepy but kept playing just to finish a beacon task till late. I almost threw up when the MM twice gave Team Death Matches against clan squads. I had an amazing streak like 2 wins and 15 losses, still my league rank rose up a bit. Often I was one of top scorers on the losing team, meaning that I was doing damage but not the thing required for a top scorer on a team to win. I managed to capture some beacons in a game mode WITH beacons and went to bed. My win rate fell to 34%, the lowest after the comeback. Then today the first battle was this one. I kind of lost the lead-hitter Mender to a lost connection. I am still learning what to do with Mender in this map, especially when there is no one particularly willing to cooperate with me. From there, it got slightly more interesting (including a funny scene where teammates physically pushed an unyielding red T-Falcon out of the beacon circle): link to the video (1080+p)As the battle result showed, we were out-damaged and out-killed. In the order of damage scores, the blue was [C, C, M1, C, M3, M3] and the red was [C, C, C, M3, M1, M3]: I think teammates did a good job holding off the stronger opponents on the upper part of the map, while I was facing off alone against two weaker (or less experienced) ones at the lower C beacon. All teammates meched out, but they earned me enough time to preserve the beacon advantage till the end. While it was a close call at the end, the battle itself (at least on my side) was rather peaceful, I felt I spent more time waiting (and enjoying cracks) than doing damages,

Carrier is one of the maps I have been doing better since the comeback. In this battle, the red first captured the center and started a bit recklessly charging forward, so my new lead hitter, Mender, took a few of them out by waiting at the gate and smashing their sides. After that, I lost a couple bots without doing much by jumping/walking into enemy lock down traps by mistake. At the end, we reduced the red to three, but the three all came out with Invaders and it was scary. The blue managed to sustain by a rather small margin, link to the video (1080+p)The blue team = [C, C, C, C, M2, M3] and the red = [C, C, C, C, M3, M3], in the order of damage scores. Battle result:

Great job, I enjoyed watching You played patiently with the Mender and effectively supported when the blue taking over the red side beacon. I realize Rayker’s profile is so small that it can use the curvature of the pipe bridge as a cover. Rayker play was brilliant. Double Shredders seem to have a quite good lock down chance from a distance at level 8. I only have one (leveling to 8 now) and building one - can’t wait to put a pair on my Strider (paired with an Avenger), Blitz (with Gusts), or Mender (with a Storm), Here's a 1.1 with the new fast hangar thats been fun playing.

The red team was a bit too aggressive - they maintained beacon advantage but at the end we were able to mech them out (by 2:0 at the end). I made mistakes when I lost the Mender, the Spectre, and the Inquisitor (wasted), but the red wasted more bots I guess. When I was in the Stuka Spectre, at one point there were too many red charging to our beacons and dying it was hilarious, link to the video (1080+p)In the order of damage scores, the blue = [C, C, C, C, M3, M3] and the red = [C, C, M3, M1, C, M1] Battle result:

just got my highest scores using this small bots hangar, lot of fun Great that three 1.3+M performers (including you) compensated for the blue fader, i.e. <100k damage and/or no key rewards (meaning left the game before 2 min.) in the team. Can you tell the mode, map, and the small robot hangar used?

Had back-to-back >1.6M damage battles and both were kind of close nail-biters. The first was essentially the debut of my level 7 Ao Jun, won from an event chest - it successfully finished a few flights, could have been better. I think I made the right choice when deciding where to drop my last bot - TempMolot Natty. The red was not aggressive enough: link to the video (1080+p)In the order of damage scores, the blue = [C, C, C, M1, M3, E3] and the red = [M1, C, M3, C, E1, M1]: ... The second battle was quite intense. I played along and realize that the beacon bar was short ... -_- I like the new Scourge-Ember Inquisitor: link to the video (1080+p)In the order of damage scores, the blue = [C, C, C, C, M1, M3] and the red = [M3, C, E1, C, M1, M3]. A mixed-league squad, huh... ... Hangars used, the #2 for the first battle, #1 for the second:

Although the damage scores were a bit shorter than the cutoff (1.4M), I think these two battles worth recording. Both were quite close and I contributed with beacon captures as well. One was a Domination game on Dreadnought. After endyu 's advice, I mixed in a Corona (still level 7) to my Taran Bulgasari and it turned out quite versatile. I believe at the last moment the red Invader couldn't jump because it was locked down. If it were able to jump and kill me and the blue Blitz at the center, the result might have been different: link to the video (1080+p)In the order of damage scores, the blue = [C, C, M1, C, M1, M1] and the red = [C, C, C, C, M1, M1]. Battle result: ... Another was a Domination in Canyon. Together with a blue Pursuer, my Strider made the beacon 4:1 quickly, but it didn't go very long. Later my old Tempest-Molot Natty killed an annoying red Flux-Fury (and a couple more), thanks to a supportive random blue Mender at the center beacon. When the battle reduced to 3-vs-3, I was a bit worried because the red appeared to have two T-Falcons. But my new Ao Jun (now level 9) and teammates were able to handle the situation. The dragon breath ability seemed working well against T-Falcon: link to the video (1080+p)In the order of damage scores, the blue = [C, C, C, M3, C, M1] and the red = [C, C, M3, M1, E1, C]. Where am I? Who am I shooting at? Who am I? Are we winning? Uh ... okay? The red were so aggressive, seemed determined to spawn-raid. For quite some while, it was hard to discern who is shooting at whom. Later in my Taran-Corona Bulgasari, I started playing more calmly. Both sides had four-legged robots (a blue Weyland and at least one red Invaders) with significant roles. Twice I almost threw my bots overboard... overall a crazy battle link to the video (1080+p)

Fought against a legend league player. [AW] PhaTrevor (currently #20) always does 1.5~3 pilot-worth of work in a battle. Whenever I teamed with or fought against him, the battle was quite lopsided - he felt like a one-man squad. This time, though, he appeared a bit too aggressive. Perhaps tired after a long stretch or being ready for dinner? He focused on the under-the-bridge beacon (C) at the lower Castle, which would have been a better Beacon Rush strategy. This was a Domination game though and I think confining himself in the small area at the C beacon limited his performance. Still, he almost won it - if the red prolonged for 10 more seconds, the result might have been different. Kudos to the blue players who haven't backed up against a legend player. There was a moment where my Inquisitor Quantum Radar-jumped against a red Tulu-Spectre. With the Quantum Radar and the Guidance Operator, I should have caught this Tulu-Spectre mid-air, but there was a weird lag and I found the Quantum Radar not activated and the red Spectre suddenly teleport-ed to a corner. At that time, I should have waited for the next jump charge, rather than following that guy with my ever-slow Inquisitor. Luckily a teammate killed the Spectre and kept the important beacon: link to the video (1080+p)In the order of damage scores, the blue = [C, C, C, M1, C, C] and the red = [C, C, C, C, M2, C]. The top scorers' league ranks were 6,239 (blue) and 11,356 (red), while others' league ranks were so-and-so (around 5000). Battle result: I think this was the hangar he used:

This one did not pass the damage cut-off but I still want to leave a record since it was a fun game. I made a mistake with the lead-off Blitz - I should have backed off when the beacon D was already taken by a grilling-type Raven. There was no point approaching an opponent with a far superior firepower at the point-blank range. We immediately fell into 1:4 beacon disadvantage and it didn't look great. Then the Mender did a good job taking the B beacon back at a lucky timing. It went on to survive a 1-vs-1 encounter with a Mercury using a combination of PS and the healing ability. From there, it went better for the blue team. This battle also featured, I think, @earlcampbell 's air force. His Hover at one point gave a neck-breaking targeting experience to my Mender... GG and hope to meet as teammates next time link to the video (1080+p)In the order of "honor" scores, the blue = [C, M1, C, C, M2, M3] and the red = [C, C, M2, C, M3, C]. Battle result:

The red team brought out so many tanky bots, but they were not really the "super-tank" type (i.e. those with maxed Last Stand). Note to self: don't save Blitz ability too much, I don't need to land all three ability shots on a target. I decided to record a few games. So painful to watch. My play is terrible. One of them I still managed just over 2m in "damage" which reset my highest to 1.8m. I won't be posting that video lol, unless for comedy. Kinda sad that my - ahem - level of "skill" exists in low Champions League. I've certainly lost a lot of respect for the leagues now hahaha. It's not like I'm using max gear...wtheck is going on 'round here. This game...after watching it again, it was one of the worst plays I've had in a while.
