Just did what I said I would never do. I have been a big Brit bike fan for years. Triumph was my brand, but loved Nortons, BSA, basically all the Brit bikes.
Anyway, this past weekend I traded in my Thunderbird Sport for a brand spanking new FXFB Fat Bob.....in White no less. Still not gonna be "that guy" that rides a Harley and wears nothing but Harley. You know the guys. My best friend is one. Everything he owns and wears has Harley emblazoned on it.
This may not last long. The new Rocket 3 is around the corner......
Anyway, who else rides and what do you ride?

Nice BMW BTW. I notice the dudes on adventure bikes always, always are the safest riders on the road. I know for a fact that you will log more miles this year than I will in 3 years. She rides with me, but the wife would never be down for a cross country ride. Is why I don't have a bagger. If you live in the states, take a ride through Utah, it is a bikers dream.

Have done Utah many times. Last year we staged out Torrey for a few days. Heated grips saved me on that trip...cold rain and hail in May. Utah is great for riding. Love to open it up between Blanding and Hanksville.

Mirror Lake highway, when it is open, is a blast.

If I ever bought a bike, my wife would kill me faster than a DB Spectre zeroing in on a Cossack!

I had been riding for over 30 years, until now. I just sold a 2014 Honda Valkyrie because it spent much more time collecting dust than being ridden. Probably the last 10 years or so my interest in riding has just faded. Old age, I don't know. Disappointing, yes, but it just didn't make any sense keeping a bike in the garage any longer. This is the first season since the mid-80's that I haven't had a bike, and I honestly don't miss it. I thought I'd be a lot older than this before I heard myself saying that, but there it is.
I've had mostly Honda's over the years, except for one Triumph Thunderbird, which was one of the prettiest and nicest riding machines I've owned, and I've owned many pretty and nice-riding machines. Sport, sport-tourers, but mostly cruisers have been my thing. My favorite was probably a 2005 VTX 1800 torque-monster.
Anyway, good luck with the new ride, enjoy, and please just don't turn into one of them HD snobs.
