As per your pm, ran some all legacy games. No boosts no modules active or premium. So we can see how the formula holds up Unfortunately I had some really good ones that didn’t record with 2m++ numbers, but plenty of good uploads none the less You can see them in my channel at, under happy fun ball Ag analysis www.youtube.com/channel/UCTkuVzfE_Yj1iCkblnsJSAgThanks very much, linearblade! I'll add them to the database and see if there is anything different going on. Also I had a loss where my payout was 600k(premium) on 1.7mm damage. This game did not record And I can’t replicate the results on your calculator

Maybe count bots destroyed at 2500 a wreck? I’ll have to check my games and see if I meched or not on prior games

Thanks very much, linearblade ! I'll add them to the database and see if there is anything different going on. Some things I should note. You might be able to chop out the randomness by counting critical hits and libs in the game. I may not have meched iut all games too Also, I have played perfect games in the past using a Death Star Patton on yam. Repairs were indeed 0 It may be that damage done correlates to instead of causing repairs. In any case your analysis is pretty close. The formula is close enough for government work. I just overlaid your data with mine. Your repairs are in bright pink, your payouts are in bright green. I have one graph for wins and one graph for losses: Here is kukurukukuk data for Domination: There is some scatter in kukurukukuk Dom wins but overall, I think the model works pretty well. At this stage I don't think hangar and weapons affect repair costs which makes sense if repairs are really only derived from the damage you do to the reds. If anyone does come up with some weird results relative to the model or figures out critical hit values, please let me know. I'd like to keep this thing updated and accurate so that we can track what Pix is doing behind the scenes. Thanks again, linearblade !

I have had rounds this past week where I did not die during the match and my repair was like 10k, repair still counts. Bots and individual weapons are worth something like 30k. You don't pay for the weapons on a bot that died, just the ones that broke. It’s weird. I had a match last night—no death but lost a heavy weapon=> zero repair costs How much damage did you cause. Roughly?

I think I used to understand those statistical tests... 15 years ago in my stats class. In any event, you had me at R squared, you had me at R squared. My class was called 510 Regression Analysis. I still remember the class average was 40-50 out of 100 in both mid term1 and 2. Those Matrix calculations are the killer. Then the professor has to curve to make some people pass. Next semester, only 3 people picked his class... OP’s work is something like our homework 1, fit a line get a formula and r square, do a residual analysis and so on. Gathering data and writing report is where the work is at, once you have clean organized data, it’s just a few buttons. I also forget how to run these analysis now, only the basic concept is still there.

Funny how the only time in my life i use this 「dookie」 is in a game.

Here's another one... It holds up well to loses...slightly higher/lower but wanted to post my 「bum-bum」 rapes tonight so everyone can validate. Great formula...basically hang out and use princess bot abilities to clobber then hide again. Best way to succeed with my hangar.

So...the formulas are interesting, but can you translate all this into a more straightforward playing strategy for each play mode? Is there an optimal way to play that maximizes silver yield?

If the formula didn't change, a medium weapon has the same value as a heavy weapon if blown up (lights are less), a lost Taran is worth the same as a lost Zeus in repair costs. The penalty cost scales up with level (to a maximum of 30-40k maybe 50k per bot/weapon) , but you should be doing more damage with higher level weapons. Bots all have their own value (to a maximum of 50k or so), but it is not proportionate to HP or anything. Other than that you just need to do damage. Also, beacons and kills give a small bonus that make the math a little more complicated. This includes deactivating and activating a beacon.

Also, beacons and kills give a small bonus that make the math a little more complicated. This includes deactivating and activating a beacon. That's incorrect. Your repair costs are based upon the damage you do to the reds not based upon what they do to you. The only exception to this seems to be if you nurse a single bot through the whole game and it is not destroyed by the end of the game. The main finding was just that: there is NO correlation between what the reds do to you and what your repair costs are except for that single exception. Cant emphasize that enough. Assuming you don't want to play a single bot like a Trident Fury from beginning to end, here's what is important. Do as much damage as you can. So long as you aren't worrying about meching out, don't be afraid to go Rambo with one of your bots if that will get you more damage. Other than winning a game, damage is the single most important thing that determines your payoff (beacons, kills are worth much less; critical hits on reds have an unknown value at this point but could be worth something like 3-4 kills... just speculating). Hiding behind walls and finishing the game with 3 of your bots still intact hurts you because you have been missed the opportunity to get more damage. Beacons don't seem to be worth much for Ag payout but hey are worth a lot with respect to honor points for battle rewards chests. I would still go for beacons because it increases your chance of winning and gets you more honor points. As for kills, they don't look to be worth that much in beacon rush or domination. This is kind of rambling because I'm typing while I'm thinking this through... a) Get beacons not because they are worth that much but because it improves the chances your team will win. A secondary bonus of that is more honor points. b) Get as much damage as you can as that is the most important thing behind winning. Don't be afraid to lose a bot to get more damage so long as you aren't worried about meching out. You gain nothing by having two fully healthy bots at the end of the game. c) Get kills because it improves your chances of winning by depleting the bots available to the enemy. If both you and a teammate could finish off a kill, it really doesn't matter who does the coup de gras as there is little silver in there.

Optimal way is in my signature. My hangar cover beacons, cover kills, cover damage, cover 3 minutes per game, cover big map tanking, cover small map spawn raid, cover your car insurance, cover your college tuition.

Honestly, there's not much you can do, that's why I didn't publish similar findings months ago. All this does is track whether they nerf the Ag payouts. That's about it. Even before this round of data, I could tell there was a small Ag nerf 3-4 weeks ago. They also control winrate, so even if you could make more Ag, they would get it back another way. There's nothing you can do against death squads. And there's nothing you can do when they stack the teams, and the red side has +500 cup advantage and more dragons, Ares, or cappers than your side. You can also bet they are watching this thread with keen interest. Everytime someone reveals an exploit here, I notice it gets nerfed within a week. It shows they have no idea what is going on in their game.

The main finding was just that: there is NO correlation between what the reds do to you and what your repair costs are except for that single exception. This is why I think there’s a cap or limit to repair and the repairs are really high so it only takes 1 or 2 of your bots being killed to reach that cap. When I look at your graphs the repair points match the payout points but just translated down, however the few exceptions I’ve spotted the repair is much lower than the standard translation but none are higher than the standard translation.

If you have a game where you do run a couple of bots and get really low damage, please post the details (bots used, mode, win/loss, kills, beacons, win/loss, damage, repair, non-premium payout) to this board so we can build on the model. I haven't had a game like that to my knowledge but I have to admit that I didn't really pay much attention to that until recently. It probably could be tested by running something like a Fury Flux on a long map for 90% of the game, getting it killed at that point, and then dropping in with a fresh bot where you just go and hide.

How are they putting this much effort into repair costs yet the basic targeting system is still 「dookie」...
