DISCLAIMER: The SuckerPunch Foundation (SPF) wishes to clarify that SuckerPunch is a Strictly Strider A.I., and is not synergistic with other mechs. Although we may utilize skills with other mechs that are similar to when we run Strider, these are the effects of previous synergy with SuckerPunch, and not directly from the Strider A.I. SuckerPunch on the occasion of piloting a different mech.
SPF is currently investigating rumors that SuckerPunch has been hacked and downloaded into other mech systems, and wish to assure Strider Neophytes that SuckerPunch is equipped with multiple encryption attack barriers that are unable to be decoded or bypassed even by wizard class hackers, so there is no need to be hesitant in moving forward with cybernetic synergy with SuckerPunch.

LOCK DOWN ANMO ...is very useful for various objectives, such as to help prevent enemy mechs from getting to the beacon youâre about to grab; preventing target evasion; stopping the destructive flight of an Ao Jun; stopping an enemy from getting to an ally and so forth Lockdown Ammo is not 「fluffernutter」ing cool! USE IT!

I think the sucker punch was just looking at the speed of my cossack wishfully then. I guess it was imagining if strider had that running speed. I know my own skills have connected with it so I guess there is that lol.

Should I get Strider or Hover first? I've both... Scooter is way more fun! Hover has been gathering dust.

HA-HA.....SNEAKY STRIDER... Caught an ARES on SHENZHEN... purple shield up and shooting elsewhere... Launched in and humped his leg with 2xSPARK and GLORY....his shield protected me from his pals...or so I think, didn't get hit...he fell dead and I jetted away before I was targeted... Then feeling smart... I tried to prove white is actually black and was run over at a crosswalk.... Humped his leg?!? ROFL ... that's an awesome description! That's what we do... we get very close and very personal! Iol Thanks!

I'm not saying SUCKERPUNCH was downloaded into another bot... I'm saying elements of its system hacked its way into another bot to avenge the death of its original host....it made the mistake, once, of hacking into my LEO after the death of my STRIDER....the screams of anguish over the lack of speed were audible over the sounds of combat....but the LEO did accelerate 1/2 kph faster at the expense of life support for the pilot....

Anyone ever raced a kumiho in strider? I just did and it was sad, he kept trying to keep up but I just got so far ahead of him, then he did a whoopsie and super dashed roght off the side of the bridge, on castle so he died. I remember when I would have done that but not anymore!

I made a Pursuer hate me so much because I locked him down. I could feel the hate seethe as he ran right past two over bots and straight at me in my shotty strider.
He took me down which was sad but he was then stuck between three of us as I respawned. We nailed him.

Finally decided to switch from SPARKS to GUSTS on my STRIDER....
As much as I like the SPARKS.... scoring tells the story....so, I guess I will kill more instead of area control....
Y'all were right....I was wrong.... sometimes weird is just weird...
SPARKS are really cool though....may go all electric on the ARES I'm leveling (SCOURGE/SPARK).

With equal pilots, the KUMI can take more damage and generates more dashes quicker.... Most of the time, med weps deliver more damage do to rate of fire over heavies and dmg per shot over lights... I would not want to make a living on the difference...and the STRIDER has the advantage everywhere else...hence, my KUMI is sitting naked in the warehouse. (I may try him again instead of my QUIZ....CORONA/STORM)

I started exploring Strider a lot in custom match on different maps, getting a feel for terrain, dash mechanics. Then in regular matches explored the dash mechanics and unpredictability in knife fights and realized Strider was way better. However, honestly, it was not until I watched a bunch of videos by the Strider Grandmaster (~BB~) that I understood what would take my experience of this mech to the next level. So now I have a plaque in my hangar with the SuckerPunch poster made by ~BB~, in which he features his Strider launching off a platform to punch someone in the face on Yamantau, and before I start a match where I’m using Strider, I hold some incense and bow to the Grandmaster.

Had me a wee … one-sided … knife fight yesterday on the valley map. These three reds had been camping on one of the ramps and were slaughtering us pretty good. When all were shooting left... I managed to slide up from the right .... killed em all before they knew what hit em! Weee!!! lol
'Course, I had to use all my scoots to get over there and was blasted when they all respawned but it was so worth it!

I just had probably the best round with strider in quite a while, watched an ares train stomping our team and decided to hang to the side, they didn't see me and I just waltzed into their shields. An invader on my team must have seen me and instead of hiding (like he was trying to because he was at like a fifth of his hp) he jumped on the ares.
Simply put, they all hit that invader as hard as they could and all the while I shanked 2 of them to death, the last finally killed the invader, turned to me and died to me as well. They then built another train (f'ing whales) and I almost took one of them down with me.
The rest of the round was me knocking 2 of them out with my mercury and them cleaning us up.

The story of how 1 Blue Strider killed 2 Ares, 1 Specter, 1 Ao Jun while securing beacons D and red spawn.
Dreadnought map and on drop, my closest beacon is D (the non ramp side), so I start a few dashes towards it. Reds press for it w an Avenger Ao Jun, Ares and a tutu Specter. Ao Jun and Spec head to the roof, ready for center or beacon D while Ares’ freakishly impossible speed closes the gap for beacon D. I save my dashes to maximize the limited approach cover, get the beacon and was able to tuck in the little cubby hole while all 3 spew raging death upon me, or so they thought.
Nearly unscathed (Wow, do they suck I thought to myself), I quickly discover that Ares doesn’t have Last Stand. WAHOO, one down. Ao Jun thought he was being clever and went to the other side of the roof, thinking to triangulate against me. With the help of a blue providing a distraction, I ended both the Spec and the Ao Jun, danced on the roof while Mechanic skill did it’s magic and recharged my dashes. 3 dashes later and I’m on the red home spawn beacon, tucked safely inside that little nook. Tricked another ares into slapping on his pretty purple panties with a simple corner shoot and ended that one as well. Nothing left for the red invader, lol.
