Well then, 4 and 5 go without saying...The rest are YOU being rude and flakey. Hive five bro... Seriously? I'm not going to stay in when 3 Natasha's are dancing around blocking the spawn point. Or some stalker is shooting me in the back with newly acquired mags. And out of nowhere a tanking beacon camper suddenly decides to cap lol. If that makes me rude or flakey, I'll proudly wear that hat.

Yes please don't quit games, if you come across a lot of trident guys, last Springfield I was in, there were 5 of them! But you know what, ended up with like 350k in damages 5 gold and the win. They aren't going after the beacons, carnages do, but they are toast when they try for that third beacon. Just find a safe spot behind a wall and hold your ground. Like playing zone defense in football, not man to man.. find a beacon you can keep close to and defend it Unless the reds have capped center beacon. Then it's pure hell trying to take it back. Nearly impossible on open maps with that many guns. All they do is pick you off with splash one by one. Horribly frustrating.

I quit for one reason ONLY....If its Yama or Canyon. I only knife fight and those maps are for campers/snipers. Or as I like to refer to both classes, cowards "Cowards" is a bit strong. I don't think anyone is genuinely scared that their pretend robot will get hurt. I play a mixed hangar with a bit of everything and if one guy is going to insist on running into open ground in a knife fighter, I'll happily switch to a sniper and use him for target practice. That's not cowardice, that's flexibility, strategy, common sense. Quitting maps because they don't suit one style seems a shame as your missing out on a big part of the game, but as long as you do it early enough to be replaced then I guess no harm done. I think the "cowards" are the ones who camp out of harm's way the entire match even when their team is down on beacons. They'd rather watch their team lose and keep their precious bot than ditch the bot and engage or cap for a win. Very puzzling, indeed.

I protest the map balance of Springfield, if I see we're spawning city side with reds at farm/barn then I quit. (Usually within 15 seconds). I used to drop on Yama but now I tolerate it. I don't understand why they even use those spawns (including the hill in Power Plant.) Grossly unfair for whoever gets them.

I used to fight to the death every match, but the change in MM is beating that out of me. I am sick and tired of being the #1 or #2 damage dealer on the losing side. I don't need the matchmaker wrongly identifying me as the strongest player on my side just because I always try to win and fight to the bloody end. That is a sure path to more losses. I'm on a terrible streak right now with group after group of blues who seem to be a mix of droppers and cowards. I think I'm just going to leave any game now where it doesn't look like my team has the will to come out aggressively and challenge the opposition... it's just too frustrating to give max effort only to have the MIA teammates and campers take a ?poo-poo? on any chance of the blues winning. This situation was tolerable under the old mm, because it didn't occur so often and I'd just play through it. It is incredibly frustrating now, particularly when you've been hammered with loss after crushing loss and you can tell you don't have a chance of winning regardless of what you do.

I don't ditch if long range is on enemy side. There are ways on each map to get them. It just makes for a more patient boring game. Nope I ditch if I see too many long range on my side as they suck 「bum-bum」.

Now THAT sounds like a camper if I ever heard one. Let me remind you that beacons win games so if you want to sit up on a ridge popping shots without much fear of taking any damage just to get your little bit of ag, by all means go ahead. I'm the guy earning his paycheck by fighting in the trenches to save the game and win gold. There are hundreds of games in the app store for sniping, go play one of those. I wish I could buy you for what you know and sell you for what you think you know, I'd be rich! Because You sir, are PRICELESS! Now, let me remind you that I don't need tips from a ditcher. I've got my end covered VERY well without any worthless advice from you. By the sounds of things you aren't earning much of a paycheck if you have to ditch 30% of the maps you spawn in. You should really put some effort into learning how to play the maps. ALL the maps. And if you have to ditch 30% of your games, you know I'm sure there are hundreds of games in the app store for kids, go play one of those, you won't have to do anything hard, like, you know, play the game? I can't believe you ditch 30% of your games. ON PURPOSE even. And then try to tell me what? Man, at least I'm getting lulz here....... Next time, instead of making an ?bum-bum? of yourself, you should try to make comments on what you know, not what you think. I'm a camper.....LMMFAO! You win the Internets today there sport ? What do you consider an unbalanced hangar? Under the old mm players could develop a hangar that suited their playing style and preferences. A balanced hangar was one that you enjoyed playing that also enabled you to win more of your matches. I had barely finished upgrading my silver hangar and was just beginning to experiment with new bots and weps when the new mm rolled out. I didn't want to play TT matches because I love the faster style of play that silver offered, but I wanted to expand my hangar and prepare for when I got bored with silver tier play. If you were a silver tier player under the old mm you've been thrust into a system that now consistently pits you against TT bots. What was once a balanced hangar now appears impractical because it was deliberately not set up for TT play. As a former silver tier player I am struggling to build a competitive hangar for this sudden and new mm, and it is frustrating to say the least to be forced into matches where I get pot shot to death by superior equipment that I can't even engage. I haven't played long enough to build a diverse hangar for when the mm shifted, but I'm getting there. Blindly assuming that we deliberately limited our hangars demonstrates ignorance of our hangars and situation to say the least.

If you ditch for any reason other than a broken glitch or an emergency, you're a quitter. It's really that simple. You think something's going to be too hard to accomplish, so you tuck your tail between your legs and run. If we're going to throw words around like "coward", then leaving your teammates to struggle against superior odds because you're afraid of a challenge makes you more cowardly than anyone using a long-range setup. There's my two cents.

The sad thing is that I'm the one who is being punished here. Honestly, 「fluffernutter」 Pix. They needed to shut down droppers and inactives a long time ago, but instead their decisions have promoted undesirable behavior both directly and indirectly.

Having no way to deal with fury tridents is not a balanced hangar. Not being able to deal with ancilots is not a balanced hangar. Not being able to deal with shielded bots is not a balanced hangar. But the things you address in your post are not what is being discussed here. You are getting screwed by the mm, and I feel bad for pilots such as yourself, being thrown into games where you are sorely outclassed, but that's the subject of 1000 other threads, not this one. This is about ditching maps because you are unwilling to play as a team player, and then calling other people cowards when it's not them that is running away from fights. This is about being unwilling to become a well rounded player. And considering that that was EXACTLY the topic at hand I summarily reject the notion that it's out of necessity. I understand being outclassed and frustrating, but again, that's not what was being objected to here.

This is about being unwilling to become a well rounded player. And considering that that was EXACTLY the topic at hand I summarily reject the notion that it's out of necessity. I understand being outclassed and frustrating, but again, that's not what was being objected to here. Actually, I was talking about the topic at hand, albeit in an indirect way. Your earlier comment regarding an imbalanced hangar prompted my response. My point was that many people who are ditching are likely trying to build that balanced hangar so they won't feel compelled to ditch games. What is an imbalanced hangar now was not an imbalanced hangar before the mm change, and players need time to take stock of what's going on with the mm while buying and upgrading resources. Being sorely outclassed by long range weps is the reason they're ditching and a direct result of a "young" hangar, which, of course, is EXACTLY the topic at hand. Not wanting to be target practice for fury tridents and ancilots (which almost never showed up in silver tier,) is EXACTLY why they ditch, which, for them, is a necessity in order to avoid wasting resources and time. Once they have had the time to develop a balanced hangar for this new mm they won't need to ditch any longer. It's not about "not wanting to be a team player." It's about being able to meaningfully contribute to a team with your current hangar until you are able to develop your hangar for any and all maps. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Except that's not who I was adressing at all. And low hangars were not the reasons for ditching.
Please don't be so sensitive, because the whole paragraph above is nonsense as far as who and what *I* was adressing.

I was addressing your initial post regarding the knife fighter hangar and his reluctance to play certain maps because of campers. Maybe you didn't actually read my paragraph, or you just had difficulty making the connection. Sorry you're having trouble understanding my posts.

I did read your nonsensical post. His stated reason for ditching was not an underdeveloped hangar. Hence your point of underdeveloped hangar is really out of place. You should really post to the topic, not some obscure need to be obtuse and try to bait me, because what you posted so far is foolishness.

A knife fighter hangar is an underdeveloped hangar in the new mm. We don't know whether or not it's intentional from his original post. My post addressed the possibility that his preferrence is based upon what he currently has with his resources, hence, and underdeveloped hangar. This possiblilty is based on logical conclusions and the absence of other pertinent facts, not nonsense. Your response is very emotional, and you are obviously very passionate about your point of view. However, I must say that disregarding possible explanations based upon logical conclusions is very foolish, even if you don't agree with them.

That is my problem exactly, my hanger is "balanced" now , but I'm still being matched against consistently gold snipers, I can't get halfway to center beacon before being cut down by trebs and tridents. There's no fun in sitting back guarding my two beacons so I just don't play that map. I leave before the timer so I don't hurt my team, no harm, no foul.

I have a new reason for leaving a game. If I see 3 clan members in red I am gone. Getting that way with squads too.

My hangar - by my preference - is all armed with short-range weapons. All maps are playable, they are all challenging in different ways. Even Springfield; the large size channels more strategic play.
I find Yamantau the dullest map overall so I allow myself the indulgence of leaving before the timer counts down if I am on it for the third time in a row.
Otherwise - bar connections issues/rl interruptions I don't quit.
