Got to go back to the States a few months ago, visited my lovely 26-year old daughter, and we jammed (that's me on banjo uke).
She didn't know the tune, but a few runs and voila, time to hit the ol record button...I can't sing...well aware

This group does some pretty interesting videos... to what sounds like an 80's Retro/Synthwave style.
Not heard of Gunship before either ... nice find ... loving the nostalgia in some of the vids... it's like playing "find the film reference"

Some of my favorite Tool.... I listen to Tool allot during my workouts. Hmmm don't know "tool" ... gonna have a listen ... thanks for the suggestions Some great stuff. My signature comes from one of the first songs that made me realize that metal/hard rock drums can be more complex than double bass + snare at high speeds. Tuned me into progressive rock/metal and fusion drummers and then into jazz... they are excellent musicians.
Here is the song from my signature...
The song that got them on the mainstream map back in the 90s:
and a cool cover of 46&2

Johnny Cash happens... Awesome man! I cant sing and I am a dumb drummer so I cant play instruments either hahahaha. My kids can do it all it must have skipped me... My ex wife's dad, my kids grandfather is Randy Meisner from Poco and the original bass player for the Eagles.... The story's I could tell, oh by the way Glenn and Don liked to take credit for songs that were not theirs. For example Desperado was written by him when he skipped out on my ex's mother when he knocked (Pregnant with the ex) her up at 17. Peace out brother and keep on jamming!

Yeah, I think I already posted them in one of the many pages here
"Take This Job and Shove It" was a cover that I played with Wes Hardin (a fellow hillbilly). We had a band called Kung Fu Hillbilly, played goofy versions of a lot of 「dookie」, including this song (Take This Job).
Here's a photo of that band, your boy with the big bass...

Discovered this recently on a flight back to Saudi, I could listen to these cats all day and all night.
Say what you want, this 「dookie」 is a straight up jam in my book.

Awesome man, my middle boy played the big bass in High School, he can play anything with strings. Me stupid drummer . I love listening to a good bass player! I also just love the pure joy people can have playing as your pics show. (Oh and just joking about stupid drummer, I have played a little bass guitar mostly Metallica songs though hehehe.) The only bands I played in was in school. I played the drum set in concert band and such. A bunch of us did jam for years at my brother in-laws house though just for fun. Some of them guys were awesome sounding!

Vince Bryce is the name of the bassist and his bass is over 150 years old (sounds great).
I gave Vince a lot of solo space, can't do this with all bass players, but his bass solos are BASS SOLOS...he's leagues ahead of me.

Great sounding band and you're a fine musician, brings back memories of some of the best times.Major props! Speaking of old basses I have the 1st bass I owned (one of too many) a mid 60s Vox Panther autographed by one of my heroes the late great Thunder Fingers himself ,John Enthwhistle. Thought you'd get a kick out of that.

My daughter is a pro player, so glad the torch got passed...is getting passed, you know what I mean. Vox made cool basses, but only played a few. My bass guitar is G&L (RIP Leo) 5 string, the first year model with EMG pickups. I love to play funk, as in James Brown, Fred Wesley funk, so it is really awesome for that.
