Kudos to [CK]erazor for giving me this idea. Something he (she?) said in another thread about Pixonic neglecting the MM made me wonder......
What other issues Pixonic has conveniently or otherwise forgotten to address in their frenzy to introduce more money-making schemes?
I'd like to compile an easy-to reference list of what issues have been known about for a while. If at all possible, please try to quote a reasonable timeline (patch number?) of when the issue first came about. When you do an update, please tag me in your comment and I'll update the OP accordingly.
Damage:Taran firing -- doesn't always register damage Tarans hitting beyond 350m? - Date?
Tulu dealing splash damage through walls -- Date? Missiles/rockets evaporating when firing mech "dies" (by design?) - date?
Graphics: Taran showing "explosion" on surfaces well beyond 350m, no damage dealt Dropping into a mech and getting stuck in 1st person view
Operational (mechs): Dash bots getting stuck on textures when going down hills -- Feb 2018? Targeting mechanism is lousy -- since Patch 2.1
Target priority for on or off/level targets (very noticeable on carrier map) often prioritizing same level far distance over off-level closer distance in LOS -- since Patch 2.1
Hover getting stuck on textures -- since Patch 3.4
Invisible ceiling is lower than the tops of some buildings in maps -- known since Patch 3.4 Adding reload button for hydra, punisher, molot, etc -- Date? Dashing into walls, bypassing barrier to exploit barrier making Red unable to return fire -- Date?
Operational (game/hanger):
Unable to unequip all weapons from a mech -- since release Organization of mechs, weapons in hanger is beyond cumbersome -- since release
Scalable graphics --
Weapons disappearing from inventory for no obvious reason -- Date?
You drop into a game and despite the countdown timer showing 3-5 seconds left, everyone is already in motion. Acknowledged as a known bug ingame -- Date? Ecu's listing in which Arm it's assigned to (cumbersome) -- since release
Lag of increasing severity coming and going particularly after patches - Date?

I swear I get torched by Thermite well beyond 350m, but I always chalked it up to lag/latency and me thinking I was farther away than I actually was. . .
but then that begs the question, "Optimization much?"

when you dash over a edge and the bot seems to hit an invisible wall been like this since I've had dash bots probably February.

Target priority (i.e., the box when not locked will go to the least important target if it is near the ones you are trying to shoot) is VERY bad, still, and then there are cases of it jumping even when locked and not turning too far away from your target. It gets old and is still around.
EDIT: I don't have the free moment to research the time frame that this occurred but I am fairly sure that it was when they tweaked the Targeting last year or before.

Sad I don't have video to prove it and in another battle got a shot without any red line crossing from a ST bulgi in Valley Edited: sorry I didn't read all threads.. Will stop it here

Being in solid cover, no where near corners, but getting hammered by Tulu splash damage thought the wall.
Being able to step through cargo containers, but getting stuck on the edge of the ramp 2 meters high.
Targeting system switches target even when locked and keeping LoS intact, when jumping.
Lag skipping. (I remember thinking, "How did that Leo just dash?)
I will add more as they come to me.

On the same note - target locking on off-level targets ( significantly more noticeable on carrier map) often lock on to further away target on same level as you instead of the lower or higher target that is closer to you and in direct line of sight.

I agree. My target jumps usually at the worst possible time. Like as I'm about ready to hit the red button to finish an opponent it jumps all of a sudden to another target for no reason. I have barely if at all moved. Extremely frustrating. Sure maybe I didn't hit the lock but still why is it moving? Also I still hate on Moon how a target that is below or above you is somehow a priority over one that is directly in front of you. Stupid.

I rechecked it just now and i have 6 of them, yet my catalog says i had 7, which i updated last night, i'll keep an eye on it. As for the one about the Taran, it's more of a quality of life thing and nowhere near as annoying as the registration bug, but i don't know if the animation was removed on purpose or accident, the wiki says nothing about it.

PoopfaceIm not sure it has ever been "reported" officially: The bug where you drop into a game, and see the countdown timer still (3-5 seconds on it) and every one is already in motion. That isn't lag thats poor client syncing.

How strange... So apparently i have 6 Ecu Rs and 2 Ecu Last Stand Must've thrown off my calculations. Why would they organize it like that? This game needs an inventory rework... Does this happen with any other weapon?

Am I wrong or aphid can do 0 damage so the advice is to fire them one at a time? And, really, give me a lock on button far from the fire button. It's like to have a "Detonate" button near the "flush the toilet" one.

Aphids can be easily avoided, they often miss and have to be timed well. Anything medium or below is hard to land shots while moving at any speed. The reason for cycling them is to keep possible income damage steady. and increase your chances of doind steady damage instead of relying on one alpha strike that may miss,,then you have to wait for reload.

It's good to know the issues exist, but I'm trying to show that they're known (ideally acknowledged) issues that Pixonic is either not prioritizing or outright blowing off in favor of their continual cash grab.

And yes, the inventory needs a MASSIVE overhaul. Simple sorting by your choice of: by level or by weight class or by type (like all Stalkers next to each other or all Griffs, etc.) would be amazing.
