Twice I've been boned by a Fujin who not only blocked my escape route, didn't even activate shields to help and got us both killed. If you see someone walking into your legs, activate your shield wether they are taking damage or not. You could not only save their bot, you could take out the enemy attacking your team mate effectively turning that specific fight around helping your team.
You have an energy shield. USE IT

To their credit (at least in gold), Ive been seeing more and more players work together with fujins. Its nice to see players mount an "umbrella" offense. Pretty effective as well. Ive joined in a few times. Specially with my tulu doc. I'll sit on his side and take out energy throwers, absorbing what I damage I can so we can keep fujin alive. Once, Scourgasari took the other side and we kept taking down red after red with the taran fujin.

When I see the four legged bots on my team in solo or with unknown squadmates I go the opposite direction and keep as far away as possible from them. Most have no idea how to use them effectively and worse they walk up behind other teammates and completely block any means of tactical retreat and trap teammates into immobility.
I've teamed up with a squadmate on comms a few times with either of us using a four legger and we did well with tactical coordination. Usually a Carnage/Raijin or Ancilot/Fujin or similar combination is quite effective. I'd like to watch an Ancilot, Carnage, Haechi, Fujin team cover each other in a full map beacon march.

I have a 10/10 Orkans Fujin, which has 98k of damage protection from its shield. Similarly, a 11/10 Zeus Carnage. I probably get in the way all the time without realising it, but I always cuddle up to fellow team mates with that blue bubble if I can. Also, has anyone ever got their Griffin tangled up with a Fujin or Raijin, jumped and taken off with it? It's the funniest thing to see. I wonder if any of us could coordinate an attack using this flying spider tactic? And lastly, play Calvin Harris - In My Way while using a Fujin. Its gait matches perfectly with the timing of the song. "You are the one thing in my way in my way in my way "

But I needed millions of ag. I did experience the jump from a Griffin, had to wonder if it would work in shielded mode.

One advantage worth practicing is quick deployment into and out of shield mode. Freaks out unsuspecting bots ducking when they see shields, attack when they see them drop, and drop dead with fright because *abracadabra* they're back up! ROFL *ahem* I mean mwahaha!

With a bit of luck you could place Fujin on the top of the building, and this would be SOMETHING BIG!

For everyone here that has dissed fujin, Maybe you should help those bad pilots learn instead of criticizing them. Just look what someone who has been running fujin for a while can do. It takes time and practice to get that good, as well as having teammates know their going to get caught up in my legs.

yeah... i have had many a fujin push me out into the line of fire with his legs if you’re not contributing to the battle and I’m pissed, I may do this. Especially to guys in long range bots that have been sitting at home beacon for six minutes while I go out and lose three to four of my bots while actually trying to win the game. Next time just push me out into fire, and we’re even, right? ?

Not to trash spiderpilots... but general observation in lower leagues is that the type of person that fields them is a coward/selfish fungus.this applies to most shieled bots too.
I don't know how many times the battle is a near win but we lose because a shield/ancile robot is such a 「meow」 he has to hide behind cover with shields up and avoid all combat while 3 reds at <30% health are nearby... while at full health!
I hate people who LIVE BEHIND COVER. You are not "strategic" you are a waste of a spot on roster and contribute nothing.

BUT NO THEY KEEP THE GAME LASTING 3 MORE MINUTES WHILE THE GREAT LONE HERO JUST RUNS AND HIDES FOR THRE 「fluffernutter」ING MINUTES. WHY WHY!?

I grab beacons in a Leo because all the carnages and kumihos are too busy playing 「meow」. Also of course I am generalizing. IN A LEO Hisssssss

My ZCarnage is my only bot leveled enough to compete in Diamond 2 rest is Gold league... But let me tell you, nothing makes a Haechi get into cover faster than 30k melted off its bar. Same with everything. Every game I play, I see haechis on the red team. And normally, I either kill them or mostly kill them. And the 500k was a low average. When I'm up in an opportune firing position, enemies fear me. It really helps when it comes to funneling reds into an ambush. Don't go here, go there or I'll zap you type deal.

Strategic defense is a "spiderbot's" best friend. Works well when a hole is found where ammo gets out, yet few get in. I hide from time to time behind obstacles ready at a moment's notice to move. Mainly I'm either flanking the enemy or preparing for the advance to protect a teammate who is overwhelmed by the enemy. My personal tasks/achievements usually work themselves out when in my Fujin and I hardly try to accomplish them. Battle seems to be quite fluid, so eventually beacons will be captured or bots destroyed. ANY battle, regardless of type or number of bots present, requires teamwork:
MOVE if your team needs your spiderbot somewhere! RAISE your shields to help protect your teammates! AVOID getting caught in crossfire by paying attention to both the map AND the enemy!
Bottom line: Spiderbots are valuable UNLESS they aren't used to FULL potential! Period! Nuff said...

Counterpoint. I dont play spiderbots but I do play with them since its an inevitability. I know they are slow. I know they carry lots of firepower. I know they are shielded. So I find another hole to fire through. No sense in occupying the same space and get us both killed. And sharing a hole is a beacon for enemy fire. It also tends to lower my average as I have to wait for both my turn and my reload as they wont always coincide. Better to move down the line and find another opportunity. This works with dashes as well as they need space to circle in and out of cover. Sure, there are some true 「bum-bum」hats, but its not enough to generalize.
