Thought I would reply to this after others had a chance to see the thread. My question was "what is a smirf account?" Your answer was "shlonglor" or whatever. That doesn't answer the question and neither did your smart ?bum-bum? reply. Troll somewhere else. You don't add to the conversation and you obviously are clueless to the matter at hand. This is a misunderstanding, so please let me explain. I remember a story about a player called Shlonglor. He along his team created new accounts using Smurf names and played with these profiles instead of their normal accounts. They did it because people where shutting down modems when they run into them cause they were very good and back then, when the connection was lost you were not credited with a loss. So the "smirf account" notion got his name from that player. That's what I was told back in the day and for some reason it registered in my memory. To be honest don't know if it holds it's just what I was told. You asked "what is a smirf account?" and so I replied shlonglor is the answer I wasn't trolling nor wanted to play smart. I understand why you would perceive it as such , so please accept my apologies and let me clarify that the intend was the complete opposite of it; I was trying to add to the conversation and give as much info as I have on this issue. Thanks OHHHH I see now!! all good. thanks for the clarification!! That makes good sense and I appreciate the history lesson. I thought it might have something to do wlith the little blue guys. Please forgive my frustration as I was not understanding the reference. Hope we can, in the future, have good dialog on other topics!! RR

I know there is always work arounds. That being said, IF Pix was at all interested, and I believe they are not, in eliminating tanking, then why are bots allowed to spawn with no weapons? It was stated in a previous thread, Pix put a stop to being able to remove bots from hanger spaces, only replace them, "to prevent tankers" from spawning with only 1 platform per hanger deck. I'm calling BS here! mark it! Anyway, if not for tanking reasons, why would you spawn a Destrier naked? You must keep in mind that there are legitimate reasons for owning a hangar with one bot. Testing with clan mates for example. Using this hangar live is another story.

If you are in hanger x or running a battle between clanmates if you were to restrict the battle to only 1 bot then that would be agreed to at the start and you would not spawn any other bots after death. I dont see the legitimacy of it myself. However the main OP was spawning a destrier with out weapons or any other platform. regardless of the number of hanger slots filled. It seems this thread has taken a side road with the single bot hanger when the OP was weaponless spawning.

As long as I am not using this hangar on the live server for the purpose of tanking. Everything is fair if all players agree to the terms of engagement.

I can tell you that you won’t regularly last a full match with orkan and hydra fujin, but you can actually last a full match with haechi hydra or orkan. I’m not very good with the tarans so I haven’t done that yet. I can also tell you that you should never ever run a thunder storm gust golem if there are haechi around. I got flagged but taken out of low priority for running that bot. I only played it twice and then i was like heck no this bot’s useless up here. Another really good build I ran was a zeus shocktrain boa. I think people were dropping their bots after constantly getting hit in cover with my single shocktrain. Not even three grouped together, but just one. It had the same effect of seriously annoying reds, without all of the OPness of being a Bulgasari. Most of all it’s really just for fun for me seeing how good I am or vice verse how OP haechi is. As for the no weapons spawn. I covered that already but let me get more detailed. That’s been done since well before leagues, during mag gep era. My real question is this: do you think that if the mentioned player plays all his bots and tries not to get killed, do you think matchmaker can adjust?
