I've just gotten into playing War Robots, and I'm loving it. However, I'm not that comfortable with on-screen controls (especially since right around the movement control my Pixel gets quite hot) and would prefer to have controls with a physical feel. I posted about this in /r/walkingwarrobots, but a friend suggested I post it here too. Does War Robots support game controllers?
I have a Logitech F310 Gamepad (wired), which I tried. The movement controls worked fine in X-input mode, but the fire button was oddly mapped to the 'Start' button, which made it pretty useless. Before I drop cash on an Android-compatible gamepad like a Moga Pro Power or a GameSir G3s, I'd like to make sure they'll work with the game.

Nvidia has a controller that supports only its shield tablets War Robots does not have any ingame support for external controllers at the current time

That's too bad. Are there any firm plans to add controller support? There are quite a number of gamepads designed for use with phones (many including clips to hold them together), and as I said the Logitech controller I have is almost fully functional were it not for the fire button being poorly mapped.

I STRONGLY AGREE! Its 2017 lets have android controller support. It is not good for your hands holding a phone it gets painful and we want War Robots mobile;)

I agree with this, I'd like to see bluetooth gamepad support. I made a suggestion through the game but also via the survey at the comments section.

Has anyone tried controllers besides the Logitech F310 on War Robots-android? (Successfully or not)

Made an account just for you, on mobile so bear with me. I've tried both the ps3 and xb1 controllers on my galaxy note 8 to no avail - movement, looking, fire with start. I think thats just the way the news goes.

I have a Terios T3 gamepad.. it's setup like a Playstation pad (no rumble) The dual analogs work.. for movement and view, but none of the buttons map to any weapons.. a few of them will bring up menu though..
I sent a email to the Dev... I just started playing yesterday and would really love it to be able to use the gamepad.. It has a phone holder I use to play other games.. a poor mans shield.
There is Tincore mapper you can overlay inputs from the gamepad on the screen to simulate touches but I use it on my tablet which is rooted but I don't think it works on non rooted devices and my current phone is locked down (no root)
Still the dev's should add navtive support and remapping imo.. that is the #1 gripe I have with the game so far. At this point all but touch centric games should have native pad support imo.. heck Dead trigger had full remapping like 5 years ago.

I've tried to connect Logitech gamepad (don't have the type number at hand now) via joy2key to MEmu on PC.
Failed. The gamepad seems to give signals to joy2key, but doesn't work in MEmu. Keyboard + mouse works properly.

I do have an android gamepad. It has a faulty screen by that I mean it is over sensetive to sweat. However I tried mapping the buttons and all worked fine expect the camera when I tried to rotate it over 180 degrees it would go 180 degrees back also aiming is very hard. I will post my gamepad's name later.
