The component system works..at least for me...

It's too random still. The offers would be better if they were constant instead of 1 a day. The black market is pretty much useless other than taking free spins. Don't get me wrong, I still take the spins from keys too, but it will never allow me to acquire enough components to assemble even a weapon itself.
The lack of availability is such a greedy move on Pixonic's part. The length of time required is too long as well. By the time you can get what you're trying to it will be obsolete because of the insane release schedule. The game I USED to play before War Robots did the same thing. They released too much new gear which always increased in price. It became impossible to keep up as a F2P players and only the biggest spenders stayed. It won't be long before I'm telling that same story only War Robots will be the game I just left along with lots of others.

The Daily Deals are consistent and predictable in terms of the max components that will be available for an item for a week. If I took the time I'm sure there is a pattern to the two components that are on sale as well per day.

I've passed on some 400 gold deals and had patience. The Haechi is close. Hopefully a WSP deal for one that will include a second item I like as well. I don't waste resources on secondcomponents I don't need/want like Kumiho/Tempest/Bulg/Inquisitor. Every other second component I will take along with the Haechi.

Wooohooo just took the WSP deal and got enough finally for my Haechi. I now own all three Dash bots. Never spend a dime of RM. Just played alot and traded in alot of WSP and gold. Still got tons of gold. Next thing to work for is maybe my second hangar as I've got so many bots now.

Next:

1. Third Shocktrain for Bulg
2. Second Ember in case I wanna try a dual Ember Natty or Carny.

This system is a big fat rad carrot for most people to keep them amused and occupied with the collection activity in a vain hope of catching up with paying customers. This system is not designed to allow the vast majority to catch up. It is a pacifier/dummy.

Converting 25 gold per day will give you 800WSP daily. The average deal is worth about 2000 WSPs which means you can purchase twice every second day. As an example the average Shocktrain offer provides 240 components. That means from the 25 gold budget and normal daily accumulation it will take 104 days to get one together and the cost of it is 83K WSPs. That’s not a working system. If you target other valuable items the time to get them increases dramatically. And you are targeting multiple items which requires a huge budget.

To top it all off you need multiple of weapons and multiple of bots to be competitive and in addition you need to have them highly levelled. The simple fact is that the vast majority of people cant do that which in turn will establish a tiering of capability based on the size of someone’s valet.

Noting you did not mention purchasing of gold using RM, have mentioned achieving all event targets, mentioned spending gold on offers (which F2P players cant do consistently) and mentioned high activity levels I think you are confusing several aspects here when you are claiming that the system works. The important factor why the system works partially for you has not been declared adequately. And even so it doesn’t work because you will not have adequate stuff together and levelled high enough before the next meta change or all powerful item release. You can only keep up with RM.

The problem with the components, that the more compoment items added, the more harder to grind what you need.
Components its not one currency that you can chose what u want. But u must grind something specific and wait and wait and wait for the relevant deals. Which sometimes you wont see for long time once we get new items every update.
In my openion this is crazy and its far harder than gold/silver/wsp grinding, especially that the deals are bundled with stuff you dont need and the cards/rollet is a rip of for haieshi..

The issue here is that the OP made a claim that the component system is working and working for him because of the reasons he outlined above. The issue is that the reasons provided do not add up and hence his statement is misleading. There is much more to the story which is not revealed.

On the 2nd of Dec he stated that he is 2200 components from a Haechi and today he claimed he got his haechi using the above method. Noting the recent 120 Haechi offers available 6 out of 7 days he would have required roughly 36K of WSP to complete that transaction (assuming one offer per day). That also means he would require 2157 WSPs a day which in turn requires roughly 300 gold converted per day to achieve (unless he hasn’t reached the top level in the WS but even than it’s a large number in terms of gold). But in any case, it is way north of 25 gold per day. At the 300 gold conversion rate it makes no difference to this story whether he uses gold or WSP conversions.

And to top it off how did he afford all the previous purchases and how does he afford all the other concurrent gold and WSP purchases for the other items he talked about? Love to hear back.

They're thinking about releasing a bot with 4 medium hardpoints and descent and a bot with 5 dashes...

I'm pretty sure they're not going to nerf the Haechi again.

the Haechi nerf was symbolic to appease the masses who complained about how OP it was.

I think the system works better for long time players. I traded accounts, so this one did not get much play and have much. But my other account has 100K WSP and ~10K Au sitting in the bank untouched. I also "play" a smurf account to double my WSP production so i can get the toys sooner, but of course, they won't be on the same account then.

Most of the deals are known now, so someone can add them all up to see how much WSP it would take. I've done that for the Roachi assuming you only go for WSP deals, and only the 360 ones. The Au deals are terrible offers, and the exchange rate is 3:1 instead of keeping it high at almost 10:1. So for instance, 10K of Au is either 30K of WSP for 130K WSP total, or 100K or WSP for 200K WSP total. I think many know that 30K of WSP goes by fast, really fast in fact but some will want the item sooner. The 120 WSP bundles aren't really worse than the 360 WSP bundles, because most will want to get more than 1 thing from components.

Your math is wrong. Right now, I see 120 Roachi + 240 Shocktrain for 1300 WSP. This will be hypothetical and not based on what offers were actually available since no one is keeping track of them, but if you get those offers, this is what will happen. 

10K components / 120 Roachi = 83.3 offers need to buy to get 1 Roachi
83.3 * 1300 WSP = ~108.3K WSP total to buy 1 Roachi

83.3 * 240 Shocktrain = ~20K Shocktrain components

Now, I don't know how much a Roachi/Scourge combo is, but it's pretty similar so I bet 1400 WSP or 1200 WSP in that ball park (1700 WSP).

So spending ~108.3K WSP will get 1 Roachi, and either 2 Shocktrains or 2 Scourges or 1 Shocktrain/1 Scourge.

In terms of time, that could take 83 days if you buy 1 offer per day, so about 3 months (30 days per month). But there are bumper crop days, so usually 1 Roachi WSP offer paired with 1 Roachi Au offer. Also, maybe once a week the 360 offers appear. So today, I see 4 Roachi offers so you can get it all so 120 x 4 = 480 Roachi components for 1300 WSP + 1700 WSP + 500 Au + 400 Au paired with the Shocktrain, Ember, Kumiho, and Ember respectively. Lol, I see the Scourge combo, but not gonna redo the math.

I think the component deals have been out 2-3 months, maybe more? So you can get 510+40 WSP per day. Including converting Au to WSP, and doing 5 of them per day, so 5+8+12+19+29 Au = 73 Au per day for 600 WSP / day. I already did this calculation and someone said 73 Au per day is too low for farming, so please check my other post if you don't farm much. So let's say he can make an additional 2 conversions, so 45 + 70 = 115 Au additional or 115+73 = 188 total Au per day, so 600+250+320 = 1170 WSP from conversions. Total WSP production would be 550+1170 = 1720 WSP per day.  

So 83 days * 1720 = ~142.7K WSP. If he started with 100K WSP at the beginning, he'd have to grind like mad to get all that gear, but it's possible to get quite a bit of stuff already just based on math and not the actual deals. I don't know his stash of Au at the beginning either.  So yeah, enough time has probably passed to get 2 Haechis, 2 Scourges, 2 Shocktrains or some equivalent just from WSP daily offers. It's not unheard of to grind 120 Au per day to reach the 188 Au for conversions. Don't forget the 9 Au for squadding, the extra Au from Halloween event, and small amounts from the BM, plus the new ads this month. 

Back in the old days before BM and events, if you farm 188 Au per day, Ancile+Lancelot would be 6500/188 = 34.5 days to get one. 

But if you play casually like me, (I don't do farming), then I don't have anything yet. 

I'm not disputing the minor 30K difference in offers, and the various different packs. 

You said it costs 125K for Roachi (or value of 1, whatever). And you said the value is 80K for 1 Shocktrain. I'm pointing out that 125K WSP will get you more than 1 Roachi. If you're selective with the bundles, 125K WSP will get you 1 Roachi AND 2 Shocktrains. So you don't need 200K WSP. But you said value, so maybe that is what you mean in the first place. If so, then carry on. 

This BS component system only benefits veterans/long time players who have a truckload of spare WSP to buy these offers, get themselves new toys to play with and not spend any RM.

I can't see a new player getting access to a Haechi, unless he shells out $300 to save time or devote his life by collecting daily 510 WSP with silver by grinding for 150 days to stockpile up 76,500 WSP and then keep an eye out for the daily Haechi component offer to pop up to buy it over and over again for 83 days.
