Hey everyone! So, In my case, which would be better - a RBD Griffin, or a Leo with Ancile and 3x Aphids? Here's a pic of my hangar... Thanks!

I suggest you should keep the RDB in your hangar. It's an excellent mid-range support until you can get Zeus. It does pretty good damage on open maps like Yamantau and Canyon, and might even last the entire match I'm still using it in the Diamond league.
Aphids are highly situational, and a Leo might not be the best platform for them as it is pretty slow to go into cover. Once you fire the Aphids and are waiting for reloading, you are essentially at the mercy of the Ancile, which, if depleted, leaves you defenseless. Also, keep in mind the plasmas near you. The Magnum-Thunder is one of the best setups for a Leo, in my opinion.
If you do want to use the Aphids, I've found that fast bots like Jesse, Stalker, Gepard are pretty fun to play. Also, Orkan-Aphid Griffin is a decent build, if you play it right.
Getting the fifth slot opened will allow for a more flexible experience, without making you feel like you're walking a tightrope. Your hangar seems pretty solid for now. Levelling the carnage to at least level 9 would be beneficial though, both to the ancile and the rush speed.

Can't say pothead isn't good. I ran one and it's effective at what it does - staying in the backline, harassing foes, give support. I still consider it the best aphid build - Until the advent of vortex, probably. But, having a single ancile, I used it also on tarancilot, and in the end I preferred the latter. Why? Well I felt that my pothead had an impact on the match only in two cases: 1) running in tandem with a teammate with a compatible bot and, most of all, aware when stay close to me and when to protect me - that is extremely rare in random matches - different if you team with a pal. 2) annoying and distracting reds - they concentrate on you allowing your team to grab beacons.
So I felt it always depended on others. I couldn't take a defended beacon or defend one myself, or going head-on against an opponent or helping a team mate in difficulty.
His high survivability and ability to overcome cover where undeniably, but also means to overcome my lack of skill. I had fun with it but in the long run I started looking for something more effective. So unless you alredy have 3 aphids and one ancile, I'd invest this gold differently. And in your case I'll keep the RDB.

Pothead is fun but terrible. Can't hold a beacon and theres a million anciles out there that aphids just won't affect the same way an rdb will. Griffin is way better.

Both are effective but RDB will serve you well in more cases. Yam and parts of springfield aren't aphid friendly maps til the barriers from the test server start showing up.
