In the current royale you can get a doc for 4.4 k gold included all expenses and what you get in gold from the royale. I played the one where the cards are hidden. the last card (obviously) was the doc
it immediately gave me offers to buy 4 matching weapons

Thank you for this sir. I've wanted one and managed to get 2 Jesses via events but never the Doc. Against my better judgement I went ahead and played the game. I expecting to go the distance and ended up with the Doc on the 6th draw.

And when played right can just mow down reds, until they start to notice whats going on haha.

Is this bot worth that amount of gold? I was looking to get an Ancilot. How does this compare?
Also what do you run with it? Quad orkans, quad tulu?

Thank you eco I've been eyeballing the Doc for the longest time. It is much more affordable here.

If you already have all the other toys its a good price but if every purchase counts ancilot will serve you much, much better. Doc has monster firepower with orkans. technically highest in game but against aware players he doesn't even have time to unload as he has no defensive ability.

Is this bot worth that amount of gold? I was looking to get an Ancilot. How does this compare? Also what do you run with it? Quad orkans, quad tulu? Doc has 171K hp and 51kmh at level 12. so it is slightly faster than Galahad and has slightly higher hp than Lance. of course it does not have a shield. I run quad Orkan. it does well against targets all Orkan bots do well. plus slow Ancile bots, such as Ancilots, are very good targets, with first two Orkans it can strip Anciles and finish with the next two. it shines especially in a close multi-vs-multi combat. enemies often thought the Orkan flow should be over and got caught and killed by continuous streams of Orkans. if paired with a teammate Ancilot or other shielded bots, it can provide steadily powerful firepower. Orkans are known for their burst damage. imagine the burst damage just continue twice longer. it lacks any kind of shield or other means of evasion. survival will defend on how closely you stick to teammates with shield, PLUS how quickly you can kill the enemy before it damages you. in some sense, the two extra Orkans are your shields. an Orkan Doc is particularly vunerable to jumping DB Griffs. the enemy can shoot at a target on the ground, while a flying target is harder to hit with Orkans. it also dies quickly exposed alone in an open field. Spydras are also big threats. in all, the best situation is when it is with a teammate Ancilot in the tunnel under the Moon center beacon. no jumping enemy, no Spydra nor snipers, and behind the shield of blue Ancilots, you can shoot, switch, shoot, switch, forever. brutal. the curved corners are also perfect for "carving corners" or "shooting while disappearing from enemy LOS". you can create a similar situation in other maps with covers and teammates, an Orkan Doc is not as nimble as an Orkan Rog, but has some mobility to play shoot-and-hide or shooting-while-hiding to some degree. and don't forget it has another pair of Orkans. when an Orkan Rog is sweating and peeing rockets after failed to kill the target with the first salvo, an Orkan Doc can just switch and finish with a cold smirk,

Well, 4.4k is cheaper than 7k. If you want it go ahead. I got one awhile back and leveled it to 9, played around with it, and ultimately let it rest with everything else I no longer run because it is a very vulnerable bot. It has decent health for a medium bot, it just has no means of escape or survival.

Doc is a bit special and will take practice and skill to use. If you dont know doc or lance, go for the lance
I plan to pair orkans with either tulumbas long range option or punisher shield breaking Then switch to orkans to get the kill

I've got four Tulus and plan to play around with 4 Hydras as well.

I would save the 4 k. I have a maxed doc and compared to other bots he just doesn't make sense to me, here is why 1. 4 weps tied up on one bot that doesn't have any thing spectacular over bots that do not need 4 weps 2. The play style requires one to be very conservative at times 3. Haechi exists
I would save the resources for other priorities. I won mine some time back, but none of the WW bots make sense from an investment standpoint.

I call it the Baker Bot...give em the cake @ 350-400m...close in and finish em with the icing @ 300m.
