Well, my opinion is... depends. from a pure game perspective (so not taking in account real life) 20' reduction is nothing when you have days to wait, while can be more valuable in case of first upgrades. Speeding up tasks is good for people having very little time for War Robots, always struggling to complete those 5/5 tasks. This helps making some gold. In other cases, let say from a medium level of hangar and playtime, I think that rolling a bronze chest won't hurt

I would say the tasks, especially if it were gold tasks. This almost guarantees that you get a better reward of 30 or more gold than spinning a bronze chest.

I checked the 20' but it really does depend. I'm at a point that life is laying on my bed nursing a busted up leg and I desire stronger weapons come event time. It also is a guarantee. I watch that ad I get 20 minutes off. I play a bunch so it adds up.
On the other hand if I wasn't desiring my hangar ready for this event I would probable push the black market to get those good prizes I hear of. But there is risk involved in the keys, nor every spin is a winner but it is only 25 seconds of my day that I spent yup get that free 6 keys or1 12000 silver.
My two copper pennies!

I use it to complete beacon-related tasks I don't enjoy.

I usually play 6 or more games a day, complete half task a day is pretty easy, so most tasks usually completed in 2 days. Since we can have up to 5 task on our list, I wouldn’t waste ads on task.
Bronze chest? I don’t have luck with them, so never use ads on it.
Bonus Ag? Yes, I will use the ads on bonus Ag. I have ~300m left, I will use the ads if the bonus is more than 300k Ag
Reduce upgrade time? I use the ads mostly on this, especially when the upgrade finished time is bad for me to start upgrade another items. I think 9 x 20mins still pretty sweet.

Depends. I usually do the bronze chest. But if I have a task that I hate, like liberating the hostile beacons, then I'll speed that up. I won't reduce time of upgrade unless I'm down to the last little bit and I'm getting impatient.

It depends for me.
If you have an upgrade that will take like 19 minutes to finish, I'd watch that ad to get it over with.
If you are in need of gold fast then I would use my ads on speeding up the tasks. I normally speed up win tasks and liberate tasks.
If your upgrades are gonna take like a 10 hours, using an ad on that won't make a big difference. If you're set on gold and you don't mind playing to finish the missions in a relaxed manner, then I would just open bronze chests. It saves you from having to use some keys so you can save up for a silver chest.
Ads are like a fujin IMO, situationally helpful. If I don't have anything to use them on, I just don't use them so I can save them for when I need them.

Both the chest and task are already i the game with the removal of tasks it'll be useful the 20 minutes isnt that much on a 1 day upgrade it will be usefule on a 30-90 minutes for sure.Correct me if the 20 minutes already exists in the game because i didnt upgrade anything after the update

I would also say it depends on your current habits and needs.
Using it to complete a task is only worthwhile if you otherwise couldn't complete that task within 2 days. Assuming that you start with a blank task slate and play several games a day on average, many tasks are not that difficult to complete. You have over 48 hours to do so before it will affect your ability to get more gold/wsp (maxing out on open tasks). If you are grinding, then waiting the few hours to complete the task naturally is not a big deal. However, now that the ads replaced the ability to switch tasks twice per day, it is well worth watching an ad if you will not be able to complete the task on your own, or it would take you more than 48 hours to do so.
Once, you get a bot or weapon past level 5 or 6 for upgrades, 20 minutes on its own is not much. However, if you play 10+ games per day and use all your ads on upgrades, you can reduce it by over 3 hours. This can be a significant help to somebody who needs to upgrade several items quickly, plus is not doable in any other way besides spending a large amount of gold. If you have the gold stockpile or cash flow to pay for instant/reduced upgrades that way, watching ads for -20 minutes each is not so good.
Opening a bronze chest is the most consistent option, but has very little payoff statistically. It's only anecdotal evidence, but the best I have ever won from a bronze chest is a couple of silver bots and weapons. Winning these is not very helpful once you've been playing for a little while, as you can likely just buy any silver items you need from playing battles. I find it even less helpful now that the majority of wins seem to be around 10-20 components of all different kinds. After about 2 months of opening various bronze and silver chests, I have about 50-100 components for each bot and 50-300 components for each weapon except 1000 for the storm. At this rate without spending real world money or completing events, I will have one storm in a year and a half and a couple of the other bots/items in about 6-8 years. You can win some extra keys which may may give you a chance at earning a gold chest each month that didn't really exist before without paying through the nose or playing between 10 and 20 games per day for 30 days.
So it all just depends on what you need at the time. I use mine to first finish tasks that would take me too long through battling, then I use some to reduce upgrade time if it seems helpful, and the rest go to bronze chests hoping for some keys so maybe I can save up to open a gold chest and actually win a useful piece of equipment or gold.

I only use the task one if it's out of my skill level, like liberating 3 beacons in one game.

I personally don't care about the bronze chests (or any of the 'bonus' ganes), since I have never in the two months I've been playing gotten anything that I use, other than 8 Au, 12000 silver, or 5 more tickets. To me, those games are are nothing but a money soaking.

Hehe on my iOS account I needed 50 more gold for an aphid so I just used the speed up things on my missions

I use it to speed up upgrades ONLY. I play more than enough to complete my daily tasks. If I get a task I’m I’ll equipped for, it will just sit there as a 3rd task to the 2 new ones I get everyday until it eventually gets completed. At least if it sits there, I know I won’t get it again.
As for chests? I’d rather just know it’s saving me 7Au or whatever it is, when I speed up my upgrades rather than gamble with it and get a couple keys.
I play enough to knock a good 6-8 hours off upgrades each day. I’m happy with that because I have 20 things I need upgraded and more than enough Ag to do everything I want.

I use them to finish the tasks and to open bronze chests.
