Hello, I am looking for some recommendations on what to upgrade after these last few updates. I was thinking of Ancilot in the past but I am not sure how viable they are anymore. I have been hoarding gold since then. I also have a lot of WSP and could look to buy into one of the offers for a weapon or bot. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

The Ancilot, particularly with Tarans, is still one of the best answers to the Orkan and Shocktrain Haechis which plague top tier play. He only becomes really useful once the bot and Ancile are at least lvl 9 or 10. I think if you spent your Gold here it would be well spent. Seriously, in Champion League you have players with a hangar of 5 Haechis with all Mk2 weapons. The Tarancilot and PDB Griffin are the only things in my hangar that have a chance against these whales. Speaking of PDB Griffin, you may consider replacing your Leo or Gareth for one as you progress up the leagues. In any case, I would invest your WSP in 2 Tarans at the moment. 26k WSP may seem like a lot, but you’ll need at least 100k to get a dashbot from just daily deals and you’ll spend months waiting for it. I’m all for delayed gratification, but that’s just ridiculous. I had 50k WSP which I targeted on the Kumiho and Haechi, and I’m still only at 3500 Haechi components. Trust me, get the Tarans, they’ll almost always be useful anyway. Just my thoughts. All the best with it DV

All the best with it DV I actually already have 4 Tarans of various levels and a couple of Anciles I won from events. I used to run PDB Griffin before. Maybe I will start leveling up 2 Tarans to level 10 and an Ancile up to level 10. Then look to purchase the Lancelot and level him up in the background. Would the Lancelot replace the Leo? Line up would then be Gareth, DB Grifin, TT Fury, DB Griffin, TarAncilot. Should the second DB Griffin be replaced with PDB? That is a good point that the dash bots are very expensive, any feedback on the weapons like shocktrain or scourge?

I’ll say if u already have tarans then save wp for haiechi..instead of using gold offers convert gold to wp for first 5 deals I.e 6-60,8-80 and so on...that way regularly do it and keep on buying 360 haiechi offers only with wp though make sure they are around 2k not more if less it’s better ofc, although it would take time but if you don’t wanna spend gold(remaining gold after buying lance) in any other stuff converting them to wp is best way to get kbots although it might take 2 months or more..convert em everyday till ratio becomes too bad..when it does then stop and do same next day keep it up for 2 months and you might just get a haiechi..maybe even before 2 months coz of event you’ll get more gold and there is always daily task worth 60 gold ..but it’s worth the wait Also for weap I believe scrouges are good once lvl 10+ and if you use 2/3 of em..shocktrains are very op at high lvl..can easily score 1 mil+ damage once lvl 10+ and don’t require much skills ..it’s just hit and hide, scrouges are good but 1 of em won’t do much damage..u’ll need 2/3 atleast to do some decent damage

Just my personal preference, I will not use Gareth, Trident as well as Thunder/Magnum Leo in higher Tier. Trident is pretty rare in iOS Champions League, until it is buffed, i suggests put them away. Zeus or Tempest Fury own the mid range in iOS Champions League atm. Dont know what to say about Gareth, it can’t back paddle Orkans, too little hp, too little firepower. If you like fast bot, Rogatka or Kuminho is much better. Kuminho is the fastest bot atm, it’s short 5 secs Dash can dodge a lot of splash damage and get back to cover very fast. Thunder/Magnum Leo is ok, but it is a bit slow and without special abilities. Most bots can adjust the distance to their flavor fighting the Leo, which make Leo in disadvantage in many situations. (It is like weaker firepower version of Thunder/Taran Lancelot without physical shield) i agree to the people saying that PDB Griffin is pretty good atm, I also suggest getting it. I also upgrading a Taran Ancilelot in the background, it might take a bit long time upgrade to replaced my 10/12 Galahad (my first Lancelot). Will report back once I test drive it.

Ancilots are still awesome at upper tier because of their survivability. A lot of people run them the wrong way by being sloppy with them. Contrary to popular belief ancilots need cover. They are also very opportunistic bots. You need to press the enemy where they look soft and concentrate on energy shielded or jumping targets.
With ancilots the critical factor is getting that ancile up as high as possible (max preferred of course) and the plasma up to max. The bot itself can sit at level 9 for a long time.
I'm also a big fan of the punisher griffin at upper tier play but that bot requires some finesse and sk1llz. I will always be a huge advocate of this build because it's so fun, cheap, and it absolutely murders in the right situations.

Consider a Tempest Punisher Natasha instead of a Punisher Griffin. If you plan to play from 350m to 500m (as you should), Tempests are really deadly at that distance, and the build packs a lot of punch at close range. It can't jump of course, but the added firepower and HP make up for it. I run both Tempest Punisher Natty and Punisher Ancilot on my FB account. Love both, they work both great at mid range but are also pretty good brawlers. so they are suited for every map. My issue with the Punisher Griffin is that it is often hard to find targets. If you play against decent pilots they will use a lot of cover, and if you need to push them out of cover you must invariably close in. But a Griffin really melts fast if it comes within 350m of the reds. Of course, if you run a Punisher Griffin you can eventually morph all Punishers to my builds, once you acquire the required parts

Natasha is very squishy and has the mobility of a brick. A big thing about running punishers is range discipline and mobility to use it. A griffin and rhino has that at least.

Rhino punisher has great mobility but you are looking at much less range than a tempest natty. Combo of tempest with noricum and gekko is pretty good and the bot itself is relatively durable for fighting at a range. Holds up as well as fury and better than carnage against trebs and gekkos.

Zeus Fury is currently the only non-dash among top 50 players on iOS. Ancilot and ZF are probably the most successful non-dash non-component bots at the higher levels though I am seeing a lot of spiral-hydra griffs, pun-griffs and pdb's in the middle tiers like D1-E1. FWIW, for non-dash, non-component weapon bots I am developing spiral-hydra, ancilot and puns for E and C level play.

cant see the Pic above but I reckon concentrate on the new RM gear first and what ever gold or WSP weapons they can carry (orks and tarans). if you don't have a lance don't buy one. Save your gold til the dashes become available for gold purchase (I reckon about 14K each in a few months time). in the mean time buy components for a bulgie as that's easier to put together than a haechi via the component system. when the offers come out for a haechi than buy that one. two well equipped dashes will go a long way. and perhaps 3 with the event coming up. the big issue is having 9 weapons for them that are levelled. it will take ages to level say 6 tarans and 3 orks.

When did you last try a Natty, in 2016? If you knew how many Rhinos my Tempest Punisher Natty has melted. They all felt safe behind their shield, which does last a full 4 seconds, maybe 5 depending on the range

So I do not currently have anything that requires components such as tempest or a dash bot. I am hearing that Haechi would be one of the best from the posts above. Has anyone kept tracking of how much WSP a Haechi has cost? It does look like a Bug is easier but still very expensive.
As for Gareth, I like him as a Beacon Capper and he is helpful in taking down carnages. I may consider swapping the Leo for PDB Griffin. I have the Tarans and Magnums for that.
It looks like mixed signals on TarAncilot. I still have not spent the gold for this but it is very popular in Android Diamond league. Other than dash bots it seems like the next best.
Also, something interesting popped up with the potential to get a Doc for around 5k gold. It sounds very interesting the only thing holding me back is the amount of medium weapons that need to be committed.
Currently I do not have any Zeus(Zeis?) That is why I still run the 3 Tridents on my Fury. I do enjoy support fire with the Fury it is frustrating that they made Tulus and Pins auto reload. Hopefully they get a buff. I could potentially buy 3 Zeus which would drop me down to 4200 Gold. I could farm another 800 gold for a Lancelot and change my lay out to 2x DB Griffin, TZ Fury, TarAncilot, & Gareth(to be replaced with something else in the future).
