aceboy44 I appreciate your efforts, all the efforts from this community really. I guess many (or at least I) feel that the Hover or anything from update 3.0 and up represent a level of inaccessibility. Even after becoming "MORE accessible" Im not in a position to attain a Hover. If, by theoretical chance, Hover was sold for 2500 Au, or 13k WSP, more people would be all over this thread.

I think this is the first time I love ADS!!!! I need more!!! Well, how's the Hover perform? Is it better then Rogatka? Nothing is better than a Rog in what it does. A Rog doesn't hover in the air 100 feet high, look around at the scenery advertising itself to every other bot on the map. In test the hover was cool in that you could look at the map from above and get to places high up quickly as opposed to going around unless you have a jump bot. But it wasn't something I would pay alot for. So I think they are pricing it pretty good component wise based on the sales I see so far. No one will ever complain that it is OP.

In the future I expect to be addressed as master aceboy44 as a reflection of prestige & respect (I'm joking! Don't fire all those Orkans/Zeus/Shocktrains/etc. at me now!) All the jokes aside, I'm pleased to know that many of you appreciate my efforts and found this thread useful. P.S: I just updated upgrade cost to level 11.

I think this is the first time I love ADS!!!! I need more!!! Well, how's the Hover perform? Is it better then Rogatka? I bought my first Rogatka under the impression it was a highly nimble but strong warrior, one that rewarded skill more than any other bot in the game. And by the time I finished leveling that Rog, and having spent a good few weeks playing with it, I can safely say I'm a little let down. But the Hover's a completely different story. Absolutely no-one respects the Hover: After all, it's just an airborn vault of silver for enemy snipers, right? But the thing is, all the people complaining about the Hover don't actually own one. And I do. To preface, yes, this thing is arguably more vulnerable to snipers than any other bot in the game. Most of my deaths so far have been delivered to me through the barrels of a distant Trebuchet, sure. But that vulnerability is just about the only thing preventing the Hover from becoming another Dash bot. This bot is strong, this bot is fast and this bot is tough. 15 kilometers faster than a Griffin, with a whopping 17K more HP when maxed. Mine's at level 6 and already I'm going toe to toe with bots that should arguably be stronger than I, and winning. And my rocket boosters? When I shoot into the sky I'm borderline invincible to rockets, and even other enemies are hard pressed to keep up. The glide accelerates me to speeds surpassing that of a Stalker, allowing me to both escape enemies and get right into their faces. I'm a threat even when hovering in place: No other ability is as good at hitting enemies behind cover. I could ramble on for a few more paragraphs if I liked, but I'll just say that in conclusion, the Hover is almost certainly the Rogatka's superior from a competitive standpoint, and it absolutely demolishes it in terms of fun factor. $50 is still a steep asking price, though I hardly regret a cent.

Thanks Mechman, I am beginning to see the potential of that robot. The fact it has 175k armor surprises me, that is a lot more than a Griffin, more than Lancelot or Rhino.

aceboy44 how do you like your hover so far? Definitely it’s not a game changer like Haechi. However, it is very fun to play with once you upgrade it to level 9+ (at low levels the bot will die within seconds due to lack of HP, thus not very practical.) Think of the Hover this way, an enhanced version of a Griffin (more HP, more speed, Glide ability as opposed to jump.) With proper training, you can avoid missiles (Okrans, Alphids, Tulumbus, etc.) and eliminate your enemies with a surprise attack (from above or behind while hovering.) I just upgraded my bot to level 11 and currently use my Tarans level 12 and Alphids level 8 with it. I'm doing fine with it but is the $50 worth it to purchase this bot if you ask me? Look for something better for that $50 as you might get disappointed (upgrade costs for the Inquisitor is way less than the upgrade for Hover, and the Inquisitor is stronger than the Hover bot.)

Interesting. I was thinking of using the Tulu for more of a ranged build. The CQC build is better? As for upgrades... I feel it so hard. Working on that level 11 to 12 grind and it is painful.

After this post I'll definitely grind out the second event. Already did the first. Everything else in the second event I don't need. I guess 2 more Storms could come in handy on the new bot in test. But the Hover bot I'll grind it out for.
