 I got that 5th slot ? Apologies for the multiple Griffin.... Plus I got an iTunes voucher for my birthday today! My Plan: 1) Watch the rotating daily offers to grab a Rog + gold for 95-110% profit. 2) Use the gold from that to get two Orkans. 3) Buy 2 Tarans - I'll have enough today 4) lose the Molot? Griffin for a DB Griffin (the Orkans) 5) Plasma on the Rog (my new Beacon capper) 6) Get a Gareth for light robot tasks at some stage (no hurry) 7) BEING honest I hate the Leo and kind of wish i could replace it with a 2nd Rog/Gareth (something fast but not useless) Making progress! (Oh and my confession --> I'm 40 today ?) |

Don't be ashamed of Griffins.The Griffin still is the best bot after dash bots.

And Leo's certainly have their place, they are cheap (silver) and tough. Yes they are slow and don't jump / dash / have a built in ancile but in the right hands can be deadly.

(Oh and my confession --> I'm 40 today ?) You can get Aphids at some point to make the Gepard a more effective beacon capper with the new Aphid trajectory buff. Also, if you really hate the Leo, you can get Orkans and put it on a Griffin to make a DB. You can, if you want, replace the Punisher Griffin with a Plasma Griffin somewhere down the line. At the end of the day, it's all your choice. EDIT: The key to having a balanced hangar is having the right type of bots. Most hangar consist of 1 sniper, 1 midranger, 2 brawlers, and 1 beacon capper. If you have a Rogatka, it can double as a brawler and beacon capper, especially with Orkans. |

Happy Birthday grondak !! I'm 42, there was a survey a while back and a lot, if not not most of us are older than 35. I think you got a good plan, go for it. I've play more and more light and fast bots that can get a job done. As of yesterday its all lvl12 but that's taken me year. This is mine hangar now and its awesome fun and in fact a bit over powered - I want to stay in Diamond and unless I weaken it, it takes me into Expert (I'm on iOS btw). So you're not in the market for Dashes, and Embers and Shocktrains, and the like? Then you don't just want to climb the leagues asap, you want to build a fun that helps win games but its got to have a damage ceiling - more damage equals higher leagues... Orkan Rog Aphid Gepard Gareth with Orkans and Pinatas Zeus Carnage Taran & Magnum Galahad I'd suggest you get the bots to lvl9, and the weapons too, and then see how it goes - once your damage is taking you too high in the leagues you wanna stop levelling those and start levelling other stuff that can be fun to run. This is an inexpensive way to enjoy the game and not get yourself in a position where you need to spend A LOT of real money to have bots and weapons that you have to compete against. If you are willing to spend big (buying premium and a Rog or Orkans and Gold etc on limited scale is pretty normal), like hundreds / thousnads of dollars big then you just need to know five words: Dashes, Orkans, Tarans, Shocktrain and Mk2. |

 I spent my £25 iTunes birthday present on a Rog offer - and the gold that came with it covered the Orkans! i wasted my saved up "grind" gold on a Gareth and bought a Taran (had the Magnum already). REALLY pleased with changes - just need to get the new robots/weapons levelled up now ? I think this will be a pretty solid Hangar once I get it to 7/7 then 9/9 ? |

Congrats! In the future, I'd recommend tossing that gareth out as you advance in leagues, and instead opting for a bot like the PDB Griffin (2 tarans, 2 magnums). Also, focus on upgrading that rog and punisher griffin. In the expert league, those two bots will continue to serve you well.

Congrats! In the future, I'd recommend tossing that gareth out as you advance in leagues, and instead opting for a bot like the PDB Griffin (2 tarans, 2 magnums). Also, focus on upgrading that rog and punisher griffin. In the expert league, those two bots will continue to serve you well. I doubt the Gareth will be a longterm fixture! However, compared to the other existing light bots it's amazing. I got it to replace my Cossack/Gepard after my son let me have a go on his lvl 7/7 Plasma Gareth. It survived the whole battle and got 7 kills/7 beacons and highest damage (in silver league though). My plan is that for events with Beacon tasks it will be a main feature --> as at least it brings a lot more than a Cossack, and hopefully my teammates won't be annoyed ? |

It can last you quite a while, but as you advance in the leagues and find more and more Death Buttons (Orkans and Pinatas, they do MASSIVE damage) and Russian Death Buttons (Tulumbas and Pins), you'll find it much harder to survive. With your Gareth, you have to get face to face to actually deal damage or to defend a beacon etc. With an Aphid Gepard, you can stay behind cover, dealing large amounts of damage without taking any in return. |
