Trying to max Au & WS points! Effectively
$2400 Au
20000 WS
I currently weapons:
7 mags. lvls 2@7 / 5@6
2 tarans. 6/7
1 aphid. 6
3 thunders. 5/6/7
1 zeus. 6
Options:
Au - 2 x orkans or Galahad (really want)
Ws - Rhino & Taran
Im thinking w WS I get extra Taran (outfit Galahad) & I can still mix 2 other Tarans on Rhino.
I also have been upgrading my Puns & Mol: both Light & Med. Have level 6 for all -
2xPun - 2xPunT and 2x Mol - 2xMolT.
Have 2 Leos 6/7, 2x Griff 6/8, 1 Nat.
Also, - what is best strategy to upgrade now? Really everything's @ lvl 6 weapons. Should I do Heavys 1st? Do all 1 type Thunders or Puns.
Your thoughts.
I didnt think I could wait to save the gold. Now I want to spend effectively.

Also, I do have full mix of Light / Med bots. Usually run 2 geps & mix of Boa, golum, Vityaz. Around 3/6 - 3/7 lvls. In low silver/ high bronze I guess? I see alot of Heavys and run all the maps so not sure. My current hanger. Attachment Deleted |

^ I must echo what Strayed said. The Orkan is the best gold weapon hands down.
Galahad is a great purchase but having multiple orkans is essential.

Also try to resist upgrading your heavy bots for now. Focus on that 3/6 or 3/7 hangar, with emphasis on light or medium bots first.

From all I ahve read, it does seem common consensus is the orkans. I will purchase those & run Boa mix w orkans.
As for light / med mechs. I do have:
2x 1 lvl golums
1x 2 lvl destrier
4× 2 lvl cossacks
1x 3 lvl Vityaz & Golum
1x 4 lvl Golum
Where does lvl 1 Rhino w lvl 6/7 weapons put you on MM tier?
What should I spend WS on. After 2 tarans will be close to 10k WS. Other weapons besides to look at before Rhino?

I would sell the Destrier and the other L1 Golems and buy like 3 x Schutze - Thunder L3/6 for farming purposes. Those 3 thunders can be transferred to your remaining 3 mediums Save your WSP instead of buying any WSP bots. If I could go back knowing what I know now, I would prioritize on optimizing my setup first, then work on getting the 5th slot. Then and only then will I buy Rhino ( or any WSP bot for that matter - including Gareth/ Galahad / Lancelot ) All these bots puts you squarely in High Silver and Low Gold regardless of setup from L1 - L6. At low levels, you will only seldom get into High Bronze / Low Silver matches. More often than not you will go against bots L6 - L8 on average. You'll get good use of these bots starting at L6 with L6 weaponry. The sweetspot for me now is L7 bot - L9 weapon I will never forget the day I bought a Rhino. It was instant buyer's remorse. |

So I dropped cash on 1 orkan, need to get hang of it. Put on Boa w Thunder. Does it aim different on other bots - vertical rotation? Only did couple matches after purchase. I know about leadind aim etc (running multiple pinatas on bots), more just aiming up & down.
Gonna save rest, split between 5th & 2nd Orkan.
Saving WS as well, over the rush to spend on Rhino. I will get 2 more Tarans before Rhino. Right dont have hanger for more than 2 tarans. Any other WS weapons you suggest? Im more of Knife Fighter than support, but what would be the best dual purpose WS weapon for med/long range?

You answer you own Question. You want a Galahad and Taran. so go for it. Gaming is about fun too it is not all numbers and stats. Buy what you like.

just be careful upgrading the Galahad, it will push you in low gold easily

With this squad bug dont know how much I am going to play, really really bad. Worse than gep squads, at least you can counter them.
