MECH*SPECTRUM will be fielding a team for the annual Extra Life charity fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network of hospitals this year, which culminates in one week! Pixonic and Red Button have very kindly put some prizes up for random giveaways to donors, including: * 10 Haechis * 5 Inquisitors * 3 three-packs of Embers * 5 two-packs of Shocktrains * 5 Premium Nellys * 5 Legendary Upgrades Entering is simple! Every $5 you donate puts your name in the hat! Your budget tight but you want to participate? NO PROBLEM! Join our fundraising team, and every $5 you raise puts your name in the hat too! Or do both, for the best chance of winning. It's for a great cause, and a chance to pull together around something fun and positive! Plus as team captain, if I reach my personal goal of $1000... the beard's a-comin' off! Check it out!

If Pixonic helps with a fundraiser, they must be certainly a good company.

Hey I have an app that I earn points to trade for gift certificates. The only decent ones are Amazon and Google Play. I only have enough to trade for an Amazon card at the moment (the Google Play minimum is a $10 code). I was going to save to get the Google Play code to spend on War Robots, but screw those guys.
Would an Amazon code help? It's like 8 bucks or something.

Am I the only one who doesn’t want to see what’s under that beard?

Cool. I like this format. Even if you don't "win", you win. Cheers Dredd.

Someone should just sticky this. Because you want to see the real life version of this: You are the stereotypical internet person. A cynic through and throug. Devoid of joy and contemptuous of those who seek it.

Also Ren and Stimpy are great, and it wasn't the moment for the log song.

Can anyone win or has Pix preselected the names? You think that maybe, maybe a cause involving sick children would see some maturity out of you?

When the dash bots came out I took my months f-off budget and did this: And my "yak shaving comment" is a bit of an in joke from what happened earlier today here: war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/16108/golden-sabre-kidding-meAlso yak shaving day is funny... laugh at the video, laugh at the implication that dread is a yak for gods sake man this is a thread about charity and were being light hearted here.

Thanks for the support, everyone! Great progress to goal, but need to keep going to make it. If you're looking to get your hands on Embers, Haechis, Inquisitors, Shocktrains and more, your odds of getting them through your support here are probably leagues better than from Pixonic.

Saw this when just skimming the threads before doing some late night work and had to log in to post. I pledge some come Tuesday, if it is still going then (will check the website later to see and may adjust when) even though I had firmly set in my mind not to give them or spend any more in regards to this game unless it's to get a bot or weapon I already own sped up and ready for something that I actually enjoy: The 6 pack league and any practice or pick up games I get to be a part of. Anyway, I had planned to spend very little money on this game from now on as I would need to buy very little gold, indeed, just for that task. This, however, is worth the money. If I win something, sure I will use it; but even if I get nothing as a prize, I have no problem at all donating to that charity and very much appreciate what you are doing here. I would say a lot more than "I'm glad they chose to back you with prizes," about Pix if they had offered to match whatever you raise... but it is something, so good on them for any amount of promotion/support, whatsoever. But again, to you, Dredd77 , and all at M*S that are a part of this: My thanks and appreciation are given freely. Also... I truly am moved by your desire to use your face mane as a motivating factor... as I prefer to keep one as well... and have no doubts as to what it must mean to you. Mine... well, he has almost become a separate entity that whispers for me to do... things. Things like telling me: To walk outside bearfoot... in a briar patch. To wrestle bears... and to eat tree bark for a potato chip substitute, for examples. You must truly believe in this cause. Also... Bump.

I'm wondering whatever happened with this.
I divided my donation between Pixonic and BoT, I don't think I saw who won and remember the BoT part was also postponed. Can someone post up the winners?

Here's the thread about it on the MechSpectrum page. No idea what happened, either. Very, very rarely do I see anything from Dredd77 any more. I hope all is well with him and his family, though.
