Hey folks! Time for nominations for the coveted Mr./Ms. Influence title! Just like with the "Robot head to head" competition I ran a couple months ago, your reasons are whatever you want them to be! We're looking for someone that you see as influential in the War Robots Wiki Forum community, but that could be for any number of reasons! Now, a few guidelines. 1. Limit three (3) nominees per poster. It's a good idea to read the thread before posting to make sure you don't "waste" a nomination on someone already nominated! 2. Nominees must be Wiki Forum participants in good standing. In other words, they didn't get picked up by the scruff of the neck and thrown out of the establishment. Mods/admin are not eligible. Nor is shaolinrogue as a contest organizer. 3. We're not gonna make you go through this four times from scratch. All nominees from this thread who do NOT win, will be automatically in the pool for the next week (and there will be an opportunity to add new folks, too).  4. Nominations accepted until 11:59 EST Wednesday. The vote thread goes up Thursday and runs through Sunday. 5. Dredd77 and shaolinrogue are the final arbiter in any and all things pertaining to this contest. 6. shaolinrogue has asked for a "buggy ride" in the winner's Butch, but I consider that to be an "optional consideration" for the winner. Nah, they said awhile back on Reddit that they'd most likely be for Gold. Using IP for the Dash bots would be a really big mistake. No idea on the IP/WW exclusivity thing. |

It was a comic book drawn by Sergio Aragones of Mad Magazine fame. It was a very tongue-in-cheek comic where Groo was an extremely skilled, yet dimwitted ronin who had a variety of escapades. |

Ok, so if I am reading this right, nominating Paps or ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48 isn't necessary since they are already "on board". So picking 3 fresh faces, I will add Golden Sabre, Thumpmonkey1, and SoCalGrndR. It was hard making a choice, especially because I definitely think the needs should also be taken into account like discussed into another thread. I'd be curious to see some of the hangars around to help me orienting my vote.
But anyway, for the first round I'll give my vote to Russel, llama4president and KAZ. I had some good fun with them here and there, and they are people I enjoy discussing with. Russel, I know you said you don't need it, but you will be one of the 16 anyway, so here we go.
